156: Gems Vs Seth - Finale

Normal P.O.V

Gems had closed his eyes, with the fear of getting pierced by the spear that Seth sent his way. He came out to help, he didn't expect the things to turn against him. With every heartbeat, he would feel pain in his ankle.

“Gems!” Gray and the others ran as fast as they could to save Gems.

Gray's life flashed right front of his eyes as he saw that Gems was right in the danger zone and he might not even make it in time to save him.

Gems felt some liquid splash on his face. Meanwhile everyone in Fairy Tail gasped as they saw that. Gray dropped to his knees while Lucy and Natsu were frozen in shock. The battlefield had gone completely silent and all that could be heard was Seth's wicked laughter.

Gems slowly opened his eyes when nothing happened to him. His vision was blurry, he touched his face and then looked at his hands to see red, it was blood.

Gems immediately grabbed his glasses, which were cracked, and his eyes widened when he saw that it was indeed blood that splattered on his face. Gems looked around and his eyes widened.

Gems's heart stopped.

“M-Mom...? Da-Dad?” Gems mumbled as his eyes watered and tears gushed out of his eyes. “No... No... Nooo!!!” Gems screamed at the top of his lungs.

Gems's parents had saved Gems from the incoming attack. They had stopped the spear from reaching Gems at the cost of their own lives. It looked like Gems was starting to have a panic attack as he saw the spear being pierced into his parent's body.

Gems's mother was standing with holding the front part of the spear, in order to stop it and his father was right behind Gems's mother, with that black spear passing right through their chests. Blood constantly dripping down and creating a puddle.

“No! No! No! Mom!? Nooo! Stop this! Dad! Please no!” Gems cried as he saw that his parents were looking at him, and through all the pain, they still had a smile on their faces.

‘This was for everything we put you through... My baby... I love you...’ Gems heard her mother's voice in his head.

“Mom!” Gems cried as he extended his arm in order to reach her.

‘We don't really deserve your forgiveness, but we want you to live...live.... My son...’ Gems heard his dad's voice in his head as the black spear was starting to evaporate and within seconds it had completely gone.

Gems had tears rolling down his cheeks as he tried to wiggle free but the debris on his legs was too heavy for him to even push out of. Gems hit the concrete block in frustration while trying to get free.

Both Aurelia and Beryl fell to their knees as the spear disappeared, while looking at Gems and still having that smile.

Gems's world had stopped as he saw the blood gushing out.

‘We are proud of you...and we love you.’ Gems heard both their voices simultaneously in his head as they fell in the puddle of their own blood and went completely unconscious.

“Mom! Dad! Noooo!!” Gems cried.

Everything had stopped for Gems as he saw his parents die right infront of his eyes. Gems extended his arm towards his mom's hand in order to reach her while crying, he tried his best but couldn't, the weight of the debris wasn't letting him free.

The battlefield was filled with Gems's cries. Gray could feel the pain in Gems's voice.

Nobody expected for things to take such an ugly and heart wrenching turn. Makarov's blood was boiling as he heard Seth laughing at Gems's vulnerability. Natsu, Laxus and Gajeel, all charged at Seth at the same time.
