149: Gems's Family Re-union

The very next day, Gems got his raven hair back with the help Lucy's celestial spirit, Cancer.

Makarov informed Gems that Fairy Tail was working on searching for his parents and getting them back, little did he know, Gajeel had already found them and were just waiting for the right time to come and meet Gems. Makarov was able to convince Gems that Fairy Tail was extremely close to getting them back, so Gems wouldn't ask much questions.

The news of Gems surviving and waking up from coma spread like wild fire.

Everyday Gems would receive flowers and many gifts from numerous people around Fiore. The mailbox of Fairy Tail remained very busy. Gems had become very popular. His magic was gone, but the love people had for him was impeccable.

Gray was the happiest person for Gems.

Gems would go on missions with Gray, the team missions with his entire team. But he was just there as a part of team, no significant roles in the mission. While the missions with Gray would turn into missionary position at night.

Gems's life had completely changed without magic, in the ways he didn't even imagine. Gems had become a special member of Fairy Tail.

Princess Hisui had organized a celebration for Gems and had invited everyone that was involved in the MagicMania tournament. The entire guild of Fairy Tail was invited for the party, which was to be held at Luminaria Palace in Crocus.

Gems just stood there in front of a mirror, looking at himself. They were already in Crocus for the celebration. Gray looked at Gems and frowned because he could feel that Gems was feeling nervous.

“What happened?” Gray asked, as he was already dressed. Gems just sighed.

“Gray... I don't know... I feel very nervous.” Gems mumbled as he looked at Gray. “I don't know how am I supposed to face all these people after everything that I did to them. My heart is thumping so fast. My hands are shivering. My legs are shaking-”

“Gemsie! Calm down!” Gray said as he grabbed Gems by his face and looked into his eyes.

Gray didn't say anything further, he just went in and kissed Gems on his lips in order to calm him down. Gems relaxed a bit as Gray kissed him, Gray broke the kiss and pulled Gems in a hug. Gems could listen to Gray's heartbeats. Gems closed his eyes and just listened.

“Its gonna be okay, I promise.” Gray mumbled. Gems nodded. They just stayed like that for a few minutes until Gems broke the hug. “Feeling better?” Gray asked and Gems nodded.

“Yeah.”

“I'm gonna go down, you get ready and come down. Okay?” Gray said and Gems nodded. Gray smiled and pecked Gems on his cheek before he left the room.

Gems nodded and got ready. Gems looked at himself in the mirror and took a deep breathe. He walked out of the room and the loud noise of people talking to each other hit his ears. Gems was extra nervous, because people were gathered to celebrate him so all the attention was gonna be on him.

Gems took a deep breathe and calmed himself down.

Everyone stopped talking, and looked at Gems as he came in the party hall. It suddenly went silent. He gave a weak smile while looking at them. Lucy saw Gems's anxiety and just went and stood besides him.

Gems looked at Lucy and smiled.

“You got this.” Lucy whispered and Gems nodded.

“Thank you guys, for coming here tonight.” Gems spoke, his voice shaking. He could see everyone present there, from Asta to Yuno. Gems took a deep breathe. “Before I say anything else... I just wanna apologize. Apologize to everyone whom I hurt during the tournament with my words and my actions.” Gems said as he looked at every opponent he faced.
