158: He Said "Yes!"

Gray and Gems packed their stuff and left Magnolia for a week long vacation.

Gems was surprised when Gray asked him to pack a pair of formal wear and not just casual clothes. Gems was slowly getting in the mood too and was feeling better after that incident. He was talking normally with everyone.

For Gems, the only reason he was feeling better was the fact that he knew that Gray would never leave him.

Being bonded with Gray was the best thing that could have happened to Gems in his entire life. He was not only feeling lucky but he was also feeling very blessed at the same time.

On the other hand, Gray was very possessive about Gems. With everything that happened and everything he witnessed, he just wants to protect Gems at all costs and give him the best life which he promised to Gems's parents.

Gray was so pumped for his surprise to Gems. Knowing Gems, he already knew that Gems was gonna love the surprise but deep down, he was still very nervous about it. His heart was racing and all he could think of was how he was gonna do it. He was mostly excited but mostly nervous.

Gray and Gems left for a late night train that would make them reach their destination by the morning.

The train ride was very peaceful with Gems just snuggled upto Gray.

They reached their spot early in the morning, it was a small town. A town, which was quite near from their hometown, Isvan. But none of the boys had been here before so Gray thought it would be a great place for vacation.

That town was known as Nosh town, with how beautiful it was. Gems looked around in awe.

Gray had booked their room in a luxurious hotel which had sound proof walls, for obvious reasons. Gems already knew why Gray booked that particular room, but he wasn't complaining at all.

“Where are we going today?” Gems asked as he put their luggage away and sat on the bed.

“There's a really good gaming zone in the hotel itself, which is the reason why I chose this hotel-”

“Ofcourse you chose this hotel for its gaming zone and not because of the sound proof walls here.” Gems said holding back his laughter.

“Hey!”

“I know you better than you know yourself Gray.”

“Whatever!” Gray said with red cheeks as he looked away from Gems while the glasses wearing boy was laughing at him. Gray was internally screaming with happiness because it had been long since he last heard Gems laugh out loud like that.

“When are we leaving to play?” Gems asked as he got up and walked up to Gray.

“Lets rest for a while, my back is stiff after that train journey, we can leave after an hour of sleep.” Gray and Gems nodded.

“An entire day of playing games, seems funs.” Gems clapped and gave Gray a side hug.

“After lunch, I have a surprise for you. And that surprise is a little far, so we'll be leaving this town after lunch.”

“What is the surprise?”

“Its a surprise, baby Gemsie!” Gray said as he looked at Gems with a wide smile. “And for that I need you to wear the formals clothes that we packed.” Gray added and Gems was a bit confused but he agreed.

“....okay?” Gems mumbled after a pause.

It was still early morning, and they both were quite tired after the train journey so they both decided to lay down and rest up a bit. They didn't sleep but just laid down holding hands and talked to each other, but they didn't even realize that they had fallen asleep.
