180: Gray Weds Gems

Normal P.O.V

16th October

The day had finally arrived. The big day. The most special and the most important day in the lives of Gray and Gems and the people they influenced. Today was the day, Gray and Gems were tying the knot and becoming one.

The day which Gray waited since Day 1, was finally here. He was very excited for the day, though he had trouble sleeping the previous night just thinking about everything and the next chapter of his life.

Their wedding was taking place in the newly remodeled Fairy Tail guild hall. The invitations were send to their friends from the other guilds. Gray had everything planned, he didn't let Gems sweat at all.

Their wedding suits were ready, both of them were wearing white with an extremely light shade of lavender, it was their wedding which they used as an excuse to get matching suits at that.

Every guild member helped them to their fullest in anything that the duo needed help with, the guild hall looked like a heaven with how it was decorated from head to the toe, a stage for the grooms, chairs for the guests which would later be converted into the party area, a food counter in every corner, a cute little photobooth was created for anyone who wanted to get photos, especially Gray and Gems because they already had about thousands of them during the set up.

“Gray help me!” Gems said as he struggled with his outfit. Gray sighed holding back his laugh as he helped the younger male. “Thanks!” Gems responded with a smile. “Now I'm ready!” he added.

“You look so freaking amazing—” Gray took a deep breathe while looking at Gems.

“So do you!” Gems complimented back.

“Wow we've finally made it till here...” Gray spoke. He was feeling nervous yet so accomplished, because Gems was the biggest achievement of his entire life.

“We definitely did.” Gems looked at him and smiled.

“Your last couple of hours as a D'Cruz.” Gray joked. Both of them were very emotional and feeling heavy. He tried to lighten up the mood.

“You better be ready to share that last name with me.” Gems replied.

“It was already yours to begin with.” Gray said as he pulled Gems closer and rested his forehead on Gems's. Gray's eyes were getting wet as he wiped off a couple of tears that escaped Gems's eye. “Come here Gemsie...”

Gray immediately closed the distance between them and pulled Gems in a tight hug. Gems didn't let go of any opportunity he got to hug Gray.

“Thank you, Gray.” Gems said. “For giving me the life that I always wanted to live.” he added.

“My life is complete with you in it.” Gray said as they broke the hug and looked at each other. Gray bent down and gently pecked on Gems's lips. “I wish I could have this moment for life.” he added as he looked at Gems, they both were feeling heavily emotional.

“Today is the celebration for all the hardships we went through together, at the end... we won.” Gems replied as he sniffed while smiling and wiping his own tears.

Gray nodded.

“We did it.” Gray smiled as he held back tears. They hugged.

Their lives were about to be changed.

Everything was ready, every guest had arrived, not everyone could make it, but the close ones did, a few from the Clover Kingdom were there too, Asta, Yuno, Noel, Luck, Mareoleona and Mimosa. Princess Hisui wanted to attend but couldn't make it.
