167: The "Juvia Problem" Solved

Natsu revealed to everyone that he had a trick up his sleeve, a one time trick, which can help him defeat Zeref once and for all and everyone re-joiced.

“Gray, what happened?” Gems asked as Gray looked a bit awkward when Natsu mentioned about the one time attack.

“Its nothing. Don't worry about it.” Gray replied, but he seemed off and Gems noticed it. Gems just nodded.

‘I'll talk to him at night.’ Gems thought.

Meanwhile Makarov told them everything that he knew about the emeny. Zeref was known was Emperor Spriggan and he had a group of extremely strong wizards known as Spriggan 12.

Invel, Ajeel Raml, Brandish μ, Dimaria Yesta, God Serena, August, Bloodman, Neinhart, and Wall Eehto were the only ones that Makarov knew about and he told his guild members everything he knew about them.

“We'll now devise our strategy, please listen closely because Zeref will come at us with his entire army. We are at an overwhelming disadvantage but we must prevail.” Mavis said and the guild cheered.

According Mavis's calculations, they were expecting an attack tonight itself and she spreaded out the wizards accordingly all around Magnolia.

Majority of the Fairy Tail wizards helped with the urgent evacuation of the town to somewhere safe. Warren stayed at the guild and used his magic to keep an eye on enemy movements.

Freed, Bickslow and Evergreen were at the Cardia Cathedral using Freed's enchantments as a barrier over the entirety of Magnolia.

Juvia, Laki and Cana were assigned to guard the areas around Fairy Hills while Bisca and Family were there with the Jupiter canon to shot down an enemy from afar.

Strauss Siblings were at the Western Magnolia, Gray and Gems were not much far from there.

Dragon Slayers and Erza were evenly spread out through out Magnolia.

It was already mid night as they were patrolling through the town. Gray and Gems were standing and looking at the empty town of Magnolia.

“Gray Cherie!”

Gems sighed as he heard that voice. Gems didn't even turn around to look at Juvia.

“Umm? What are you doing here, shouldn't you be somewhere around Fairy Hills with Bisca?” Gray asked. Gems just rolled his eyes.

“Laki and Cana went to join in with Lucy, so Juvia thought she would join you.” Juvia added. Gems just frowned. Gray was standing right beside him, but the energy and the vibe he was getting from Juvia, it was something he didn't like.

“I have Gems with me to keep me company.” Gray replied instantly and Gems felt so good.

“Juvia can be a better company!” Juvia spoke in her squeaky voice, causing Gems to get irritated. Gems neither said anything nor did he budge from his place.

“No, Juvia.” Gray just sighed. Gray could literally feel what Gems was feeling even without Meledy's magic. That was the power of them being mates.

It was not a good feeling at all.

“I think its time I tell you about my feelings.” Gray added. Gems got a bit awkward while Juvia's eyes widened and a smile crept on her face.

“Juvia is ready to listen to your confession! Juvia already has some great destinations planned for our honeymoon.” Juvia said and Gems just made a disgusted face as he heard that. Just the thought of Gray and Juvia together was making him feel sick. And that's exactly how Gray felt.
