169: Gems VS Dimaria

Normal P.O.V

“What was that all about?” Erza asked as they saw Gems, Wendy and Charles flew off. Gray was still watching at Gems fly farther away. He just sighed.

“My intrusive thoughts took over.” Gray answered. “Anyways, let's get to the battle.” Gray added and Erza nodded.

“Yeah, see you around. Stay safe.” Erza said.

“You too.” Gray replied before they both went different ways to help the others in fighting the enemy.

Wendy and Charles both had pink cheeks as they flying besides Gems.

“Guess you're not the only one.” Gems mumbled catching Wendy by surprise. Wendy was still speechless after she saw Gray kiss Gems.

“Uhh... Gems-”

“Yes?”

“I always knew you and Gray were a thing-”

“What!? How!?” Gems asked while gasping as he was surprised.

“It was after the Grand Magic Games and that war with the dragons, I saw you two standing alone in the balcony of our dorm, and then I saw you two kiss...” Wendy mumbled with a red cheeks.

“Oh...” Gems was speechless.

“It was because of you guys she even got the courage to come out to our team.” Charles said with a smile and that caused a smile to crept on Gems's face as well. Gems was about to say something but he gasped when he spotted Shelia on the battle field.

Shelia was standing covering her upperbody, due to torn clothes. Gems sensed a huge amount of magic power coming from her opponent. Both him and Wendy immediately flew downwards to aid Shelia.

“Wind Kick!” Gems immediately kicked the wizard from Alvarez, who was about to attack Shelia, right over her jaw. “Stay away!” he added as all three of them stood infront of Shelia.

“Sorry we're a bit late, Shelia!” Wendy said. Her and Shelia looked at each other and smiled. “Your clothes.... Here wear this jacket.” Wendy added as she removed her jacket and gave it to Shelia.

Gems was smiling wide while looking at them.

“Thanks you guys... Thanks Wendy!” Shelia said while blushing.

“Hey kids! Do you even know where you are!?” The lady with the dirty blonde spoke as she got up while rubbing her jaw.

“Gems! Be careful! She's Dimaria, one of the Spriggan 12, I can't tell what kind of magic she uses.” Shelia said as they all got in a fighting stance.

‘Her magic levels are more than all of us combined—’ Gems thought. But he stood infront of the girls, with his wings out and didn't back down from the fight.

“This is a battlefield! Not a playground for children!” Dimaria said with a smirk.

“You people made it that way! This used to be a peaceful city and we will take it back from you! Just watch us!” Gems fired back. Gems's heart was racing fast. 

“I show no mercy to children, and I absolutely show no mercy to fairies like you...” Dimaria spoke as she looked directly at Gems. Gems took a step back. “I can clip your wings and kill you in an instant if I want to— Literally an instant is all I need.” Dimaria spoke with a sick smile.

Gems frowned while hearing her talk.

“Wendy, Charles, stay back... This lady seems trouble.” Gems mumbled. Wendy was about to say something but suddenly the time froze.
