154: The Last Goodbye

Normal P.O.V

“Welcome to the Sinister City of Seth!”

Seth's voice was echoing all over, with his evil laughter and the noise of thunder coming from the dark clouds gathered outside.

“What is this!?” Gems asked as they all looked outside. Nothing but barren land and withered trees with not a single human to be seen around.

“This is Seth's strongest spell.” Everyone turned around and they saw Gems's parents come out of the infirmary. “He uses this spell to trap his opponents in a fabricated space where he can easily defeat them.” Beryl added as he explained.

“A parallel world...?” Erza asked and they all frowned.

They all gasped when they saw multiple monsters and demonic creatures rise up from the shadows from right outside the guild hall. Gems's eyes widened as he saw that.

“What's this?!” Mirajane gasped.

“We need to protect this guild hall, we need a strong protection spell now! Before they get to us!” Gems's mother, Aurelia, yelled in a very serious tone.

“Heaven's Wheel! Blumennlatt!” Erza immediately requipped and attacked all the shadow demons who tried to enter the guild hall, striking all of them down.

“Fire Dragon Roar!”

“Solid Script: Bullets!”

“Ice Make: Lance!”

Multiple people attacked the demons, but it didn't looked like it was working because they would rise up again. Freed immediately ran and wrote his enchantments on the ground all around the guild hall with his rune magic, and cast a protection spell and stopped them from entering from anywhere.

They all sighed in relief.

“You bugs can use any protection spell you want, it won't last long... Because you will run out of oxygen soon. You are trying to fight a battle which you have already lost!” Seth laughed and they all looked tensed.

“No oxygen...” Gray mumbled and Gems looked at him.

‘I could've created oxygen and helped them all... If only I had magic...’ Gems thought.

“What are we gonna do now!?” Happy asked while getting scared.

“The only thing you can do now is hand over Gems D'Cruz to me and I will send you all back to your world!” Seth laughed. Gems's legs were shaking as he heard Seth call him out. Gray sensed how terrified Gems looked. “Think quick, if y'all don't make quick decisions, you'll run out of oxygen and along with Gems...each and everyone of you will die.” he laughed.

“I am not gonna let you lay even a finger on him, let alone hand him over!” Gray immediately yelled back.

Gems's heart skipped a beat.

“Yeah, we'll fight but not turn against one of us.” Laxus added in rage. Laxus stopped criticising Gems after he saw Gems's real power in the battle against Seth. He absolutely hated how Gems got hurt both the time and had this rage inside of him. Freed smiled and nodded while looking at Gems.

“My victory is set in stone. You can't even buy time here, its hilarious.” Seth laughed.

Gems was getting furious because of Seth. Gems took a deep breath. “This is my battle...” Gems mumbled getting everyone's attention. “This has always been my battle... Its fitting that I fight here without putting everyone else on the risk.” Gems added.
