166: Sleepless Night

Normal P.O.V

They all came back to Magnolia late night and it was all thanks to Blue Pegasus that they were able to return home safely.

“Are you still thinking about Juvia? I'm sorry about that-” Gray said as they both laid on the bed after changing to their night clothes. Gems just shook his head no. “-you know what, I'm gonna take care of this Juvia ‘problem’ once and for all because I think I've had enough.” Gray added as he removed Gems's glasses and pecked Gems on his forehead.

“How are you gonna stop her?” Gems asked.

“I'll tell her.”

“About what? About us?”

Gray just shrugged, he himself didn't know what he would tell Juvia to keep her away. Both of them sighed. Gray glided his hand over Gems's shoulder and pulled him closer, while Gems wrapped his hand around Gray's torso. 

The silence between them was peaceful, because they both could hear each other's hearts and what the other one really felt. Their magics were now bonded.

“We are so deep into our relationship and we still have to worry about Juvia is kinda funny.” Gems said as he looked at Gray. “Like I know I'm the only person who can do this-” Gems leaned up and kissed Gray on his cheek, making Gray blush. “-but her being all touchy with you and her pushing herself all over you always annoys me.” Gems added.

Gray loved how Gems's possessive side slipped up during times like these.

“I love when you get possessive about me.” Gray said but Gems raised a brow while at him.

“You're hopeless!” Gems scolded him. “But most importantly, you're mine.” Gems said as he tightened his grip on Gray. Gems said that in a very possessive tone.

Gray held Gems's hand and entwined their fingers, squeezing Gems's hand.

“Your hand is so small compared to mine.” Gray giggled.

“Stop teasing me!”

“Even your legs are smaller than me.”

“Gray stop!”

“Hey! You being shorter than me and smaller than me makes me want to hold you even more!” Gray said as he turned around and snaked his leg over Gems while holding him.

“I swear to god Gray, we're not having sex tonight, I'm so exhausted for today.” Gems said as he looked at Gray, after Gray rubbed himself on Gems's sides.

“Lemme just hold you till morning then.”

Gems nodded. Gray switched off the lights and pulled the covers over them. Gems turned around and let Gray spoon him. He still held Gray's hand.

All this time Gray was talking about Juvia but Gems wanted to talk about Lucy since Gray didn't know that Gems told Lucy about their courtship.

It was midnight but Gems was still not able to sleep, he could hear Gray snoring but he just wasn't able to sleep. Gems turned from side to side, but still couldn't sleep.

‘Why can't I sleep?’ Gems thought as he turned around and buried his in the crook of Gray's neck. He shut his eyes off but still couldn't sleep.

The guilt of not telling Gray about Lucy was not letting him sleep.

‘I should just tell Gray...’ Gems thought as he pushed himself away from Gray. Gems got out from Gray's grasps and switched on the lights after wearing back his glasses.
