Josh POV
We have been at home for weeks and Colleen is catching up on sleep. I play with Lily in the yard trying to keep her busy. I see Colleen waddle onto the deck in her long tshirt. She looks so exhausted. "Baby did we wake you?" I ask. "No I am getting some fake contractions" she says as she instantly sits down grabbing her back. I run up the steps to her and her colour changes. "Its too early for those isn't it babe?" I say sitting beside her now. She nods and breathes through it. "They are mild but enough to wake me up" she says. "Let me know if they get worse" I say. We walk into the house and I start making some lunch for us as Colleen sits with Lily. Lily is snuggling on Colleen as they lay on the couch. I walk over with two plates and place them down on the table as I take Lily from Colleen and sit her in her chair. I sit beside Colleen as she eats. She takes a few bites and puts the plate down. "Woah!" She says rubbing her belly. "I think he is running out of room" she says. She grabs my hand and places it under her boobs. I feel Noah stretch. "It is his heel" she says smiling. "Does it hurt?" I ask curiously. "Just weird" she says. I start rubbing her belly. "He is calming down" she says. A few minutes later Colleen is sleeping. I hold my finger up to Lily to indicate for her to keep quiet and we go back to her bedroom to play. Shortly after Lily lays down for her nap as well and I walk back out to the open couch to watch Colleen sleep. I see Colleens phone light up on the table and reach over to grab it. Its Tara and Katie to check in on Colleen. I walk into our bedroom letting her sleep while I talk. "How is Colleen since last week?" Katie asks. "She is hitting her limit" I say smiling. Katie laughs. "Ya I remember that feeling" she says. "Tell Colleen we are running a bit behind and we won't be there until 4 o'clock" Katie says. "Ok" I say. I walk back out to the living room and Colleen is hunched over. "Babe?" I ask sitting beside her. "I think he is coming Joshua" she says. "Colleen you are only 37 weeks" I say. "Katie and Tara are running late. They will be here at 4. Should I call them back?" I ask rubbing her back. "No I will just lay down until then" she says as I walk her back to sleep. I sit beside her until Katie and Tara comes.
Finally an hour later the doorbell rings. I grab it and tell them Colleen is experiencing pains. They quickly follow me and place down their things. Colleen is awake and crying. "Got some contractions?" Katie asks putting on gloves. "Feels like it" Colleen says grabbing my hand. "Colleen lay on your back please. Knees apart" Katie says. Katie reaches into Colleen as she squeezes my hand. "Babe just breathe" I say watching Katies reaction. "Uhhh no dilation yet which is good" Katie says taking off her gloves. She is feeling around on Colleens stomach. "He is running out of room. You will go into labour soon I think" she says as I smile to Colleen. "My boy wants out" I say kissing Colleens cheek.
