Colleen POV
Its been wonderful being at home. My mom and Josh's mom as well as Tricia are all still here helping us. I walk out to the living room with Jasmine in my snugglie sling. I smile looking at her as I round the corner. Joshua gets up once he sees me. "Babe I have the website you wanted up" he says as I join him at the kitchen table with the laptop. We sit down as we quietly talk about our trip to Hawaii in one month that we are secretly planning for both immediate families. We wanted to thank them for helping us while I was sick. "Whatcha looking at?" Lisa asks while holding Noah. "Hawaii" Josh says smiling at me. She looks over my shoulder and smiles. "Looks so nice. One day I will go" she says. Josh looks at me. I nod. "How about in one month with Dad and Jeremy and Erin and families?" Josh says. She looks at us in shock. "Colleen! Josh! Its too much" she says as Josh stands. "No Mama its not. Thank you for helping us. Both you and Gwen" Josh continues saying as he gets emotional. I grab his hand as he continues. My mom walks over as I motion her to come over. She is crying already. "Gwen can you and Tim come with us too?" Josh asks. My mom nods and hugs him as Lisa hugs me. I look over at Tricia sitting on the couch so I stand up and walk over to her. "Tricia you will have a few weeks off when we go away" I say sitting beside her. She nods and smiles. "Because you are family now too. We want you and Jeff to come with us" I say holding her hand. She starts to cry as she hugs me tight. She is sobbing. Josh is laughing. "You saved my wife and helped us when we needed you most. Even when you barely knew us. That showed us something special. We love you" Josh says. "Thank you so much. I love you guys and the kids. I have never been away on a holiday ever" she says. Josh hugs her and then I do. My mom calls my dad and Lisa calls Greg and starts the ball rolling with gathering dates that everyone can come. My sister and brother already knew about it as they can come with us whenever. We finally relax the rest of the day until all the kids are bathed and in bed. I snuggle up to my pillow on my stomach as Josh diligently cleans my incision and places a new dressing on it. He crawls into bed after washing his hands and pulls me into him. "Oh baby I cannot wait to be with you" I say kissing his neck. "Me neither" he says smiling rubbing the top of my butt gently. "Colleen I made an appointment to get the vasectomy. Its in two and a half weeks" he says watching my reaction. "This is both of our decision but you did this behind my back" I say upset. I go to roll over and he holds onto me. "Colleen we have three... THREE healthy kids and you are still in my arms. I am grateful everyday for that. I am sorry babe but no more babies" he says. "I am good now with my new kidney" I protest. "So you want to strain the new kidney too?" He asks. I turn over and cry. Its the end of an era. Baby making days are done.
