Josh POV
I wish she would listen to me. She is 15 weeks now and her body is not handling pregnancy well. Her parents are furious at both of us and Rachel won't even talk to us. I have tried to explain to them that I wanted her to terminate as well but I cannot force her. I am sitting in my man cave working on stuff with Arnold when she comes across the lawn. "Hey Colleen" Arnold says as he gets up to hug her. "Hey" she says as she hugs him. She waddles over to the couch quietly and listens to us talk. We joke around and finish up and Arnold gets up to go home. "Take care guys!" He says as he waves and goes towards his car. "Thanks for talking to me" Colleen says sarcastically as she gets up herself. "I wasn't not talking to you babe" I say going to grab for her. "I was just talking stuff through with Arnold for our show" I say. She keeps walking across the lawn as she quietly cries. I run in front of her to stop her. "Hug?" I ask. She nods and snuggles into me as I wrap my arms around her. "No one talks to me anymore" she cries. "Everyone is worried about you. Also you are very stubborn" I say kissing her head. She nods and giggles. "Look at your feet babe" I say as we walk towards the house. "Yes but other than that I am good" she says. I turn the TV on in our bedroom as she climbs into bed with her pillow and blanket. I jump beside her and rub her belly slowly as she yawns. "You need to stay off your feet entirely ok?" I say. I prop up her feet and rub them as she smiles with her eyes closed. "Feel good?" I ask. She nods as she stares at me. "Joshua" she whispers. I crawl back up to her face and lay beside her. "I love you baby" she says as she leans in to kiss me. I grab the back of her head and passionately kiss her back. She grabs onto me as her hands go up my shirt. "Love feeling you touch me" I say squeezing her. "This is how we keep getting pregnant" I say laughing. We snuggle close as I continually kiss her. She seems fidgety. "Baby you ok?" I ask her. "No" she says sitting up. She is pouring sweat. I sit up beside her holding her. "Gonna pass out" she says as she flops to the bed. "Tricia!" I yell. I hear her running down the hall "Call 911!!!" I say checking Colleens breathing. "Is she not breathing?" Tricia asks running to the bed. "No!" I say crying. Tricia throws me her phone and starts giving her mouth to mouth resuscitation as I talk to the operator. I hear the ambulance coming down the street as I run to open the door as Tricia continues. "She has a weak pulse, 15 weeks pregnant, 34 years old, diabetic and a kidney transplant recipient" she recites as they move Colleen from the bed. I grab Tricia into a quick hug as I run out with the ambulance. Tricia saved her.
I get to the hospital and text everyone to come. Everyone is on their way. I wait to hear about Colleen as I rub my hands together. I finally see Rachel come around the corner. "She wouldn't listen! I knew this would happen" she says angrily plopping herself down beside me. I nod crying. She sighs and I can see her in the corner of my eye turn to me. She leans in and hugs me. "Sorry Josh. She drives me crazy is all" she says as I grab onto her and sob. "She stopped breathing Rachel. Tricia saved her" I say. She looks shocked and starts crying as well. "Josh you need to put your foot down" she says. I nod. "I know. This has to be over" I say.
