Colleen Pov
I have been in bed for two months and am now 28 weeks. Tara and Katie are coming to check on me weekly as well. Today I wake up and feel so sick. Josh isn't in the room. I go to sit up slowly and get up to vomit in the washroom but as soon as I sit up I start throwing up. Its out of my control. I hate throwing up and I am almost choking as I am vomiting so much. It finally stops for a second so I scream for Josh. I hear running down the hallway as Josh comes running in. I am crying as I grab for him. He jumps up on the bed. I am choking as I see Tara come storming in with Rachel and Tricia standing in the hallway watching. Josh has got his fingers in my mouth scooping out vomit to clear my airway. He felt my panic as my nails dig into his hand. I see Tara getting a shot ready and she stabs me with it. "Rachel call the doctor" Tara yells. I see Rachel disappear down the hall. I finally stop and lean against Josh. Tara has got a blood pressure cuff on me. I am sobbing as I shake. Tara is taking blood from me as I cling onto Josh. "Baby its okay I have you" he says kissing the top of my head. "What is going on?" I say to Tara. "Took some blood to check your kidneys Colleen" Tara says mixing stuff in my blood samples. "I gave you an anti-nausea shot. It should help" Tara says. "I need a shower" I say crying. Josh nods and we both walk into the bathroom and close the door. He strips me down and himself as he is covered in barf as well. "Sorry baby. I couldn't help it" I say. "Baby don't ever apologize" he says kissing my forehead. He shoves everything in a bag and we walk into the shower together. He washes me entirely as I cling to him. He walks me out of the shower and sits me down and quickly washes himself off. He comes out and stares at me crying. "You will be ok baby" he says kneeling down to me. I nod and stand up as he walks behind me. I brush my teeth and use a ton of mouthwash. Josh sticks his head out to Rachel. "Rachel grab me some sweatpants and a T-shirt and Colleen the same please" he asks as she passes him stuff. He dresses me and himself and we walk out to the bedroom. The comforter snd sheets have been changed. "I threw out everything Colleen" Rachel says. "I used your second set I found" she adds. "Thanks Rachel" I say as I climb into a clean bed. I hear commotion beside me and look up to see a new face. "Mrs Evans, your kidneys are fully infected. I am going to give you heavy duty antibiotics to kill the infection. Tara will you come in daily to check on her and give me daily reports please?" He asks. Tara nods. He gives me a shot in my arm and I turn to snuggle into Josh. "Sleep doll" Josh says. I feel so much better.
