Josh POV
The next few days we spent before Colleens parents and Trent return to California were wonderful. Rachel and Matt are staying with us until Friday. It is 10:30am Tuesday morning and Colleen is at work. She is in a good state of mind after seeing her family and is feeling at her happiest and most relaxed. I ask Rachel if she can watch Lily for this evening so I can take her out just her and I so we can catch a break. Around 4 pm I call Colleen and remind her I am taking her out to dinner. She is going to be done at 7:30pm. Perfect! I make the reservations at a little Italian bistro down the street from our apartment that we have been eyeing for the last couple of weeks. I feed Lily while Rachel and Matt go and grab dinner out and are scheduled to return by 7pm. Just as I finish with Lily, Rachel walks through the door so I leave Lily to play with her while I jump into the shower and get ready for my wife. I am so excited. I put some clean pants on and a button up shirt and head out the door. I walk down the street and to Colleens building and up to her office with a change of clothes for her as she asked. She got Rachel to pack her bag as she wanted to surprise me. I see her standing in the glass conference room talking to about 8 other people. I sit in the hallway chairs and wait. I see her check her phone probably for the time and scans the hallway. She sees me and waves. I see her wave goodbye to her group and hear them faintly saying goodnight to her. I stand up and walk over to her and hug her. "Missed you" I say kissing her neck. "I have been so excited all day" she says. She grabs the bag from my hand and walks into the womens washroom. I sit down and wait until she returns and I see Brenda. "Hi Brenda" I say standing up to greet her. "Hey Josh. How are you? You got your wife excited for your date tonight. She mentioned it at lunch" she says smiling. "Awww yes its been a while since we have had a night alone without Lily" I respond. She wishes us a fun time and carries on down the hall as I sit back down and wait for Colleen. I hear high heels clicking on the tile floor as I look up from my phone. Woah! "Baby...you look...uhhh...ummm....wow" I say laughing. "So you like it?" she says sarcastically. I nod holding her hand. She is wearing a tight shortsleeve black and white pinstriped dress thats shows off her baby belly. The length of it sits right above the knee and her black heels with the straps around the ankle finish it off. She has thrown her hair up into a ponytail and reapplied some makeup. "How did you do this so fast?" I ask motioning to her outfit. "I am a mom. I can do everything fast" she giggles as I hug her. "You are stunning baby. Lets go eat" I say as we walk out of the building together hand in hand.
