Colleen POV
I open my eyes and see Josh and Lily hugging each other looking at me. "What?" I say in question. "Baby you passed out. I am taking you to the doctor" Josh says. "No Josh" I say. I sit up slowly as Tricia sits beside me. "Thank you Tricia" Josh says. "Did you help me? " I ask Tricia. "I hope you don't mind. I have been there with my diabetes" she says. "Thank you" I say hugging her. I stand up and walk to my bed. "Colleen I need to take you" he says. "Let me nap please I am so tired" I say cuddling into my pillow. I see Josh and Tricia stand beside me. "Josh can I help?" Tricia asks. "Sure" Josh says. Tricia grabs my wrist and is looking at her watch. "Her pulse is fine" Tricia says to Josh. "I have been there. Being so tired" Tricia says. I grab Tricia's hand as she is putting Josh's mind at ease. Josh looks puzzled at Tricia. "How do you know all this medical stuff?" Josh asks her. "I went to nursing school but never finished. I had to quit. Well thats another story" Tricia says quietly. "I am going to lay down with her" Josh says to Tricia. "Thank you so much Tricia" Josh says as she scoops up Lily and they make their way out of the bedroom. "Baby maybe the lack of insulin overnight is making you sick" Josh says. "Being pregnant is babe" I say kissing his hand as it wraps around my belly. Baby girl is kicking so I move his hand again onto my stomach to feel her. He buries his head into my shoulder. "Baby please just get checked out" Josh pleas. "Later" I say before falling asleep.
I wake up with the urgency to pee. Joshs arm is still around me. "Baby let me get up" I say as I sit up. "I need to pee" I say. I make my way to our washroom and start to pee. I stand up and wipe and notice blood. "Joshua!" I say. He comes running in and sees blood. I start to cry as my stomach starts cramping. "Oh my god" I say hunched over. Josh picks up his phone. I grab it. "No ambulance in front of Lily baby" I say crying into him. He stands me up and wipes my tears. We walk slowly out of the room and down the hall. I don't see Lily. Tricia is sitting with Noah on her lap. "Where is Lily?" Josh asks. "Napping. Whats going on?" She asks standing up. "I am bringing her to the hospital. Please call Rachel and ask her to come over here to sleep tonight" Josh asks her. "Owwwww" I hunch over. "Joshua these are contractions!!!" I say. He sits me down on the floor and Tricia comes and joins me. "Breathe Colleen" she says as Josh calls an ambulance. Worst nightmare coming true.
