Colleen is falling asleep beside me as I roll my condom off. I notice it broke and start to panic. I look at Colleen laying there calm as can be. "Baby" I whisper. She opens her eyes and smiles. "The condom broke" I say watching her reaction as I panic again. "The chances are so slim babe. Its fine" she says cuddling me as her hand runs along my chest. I relax thinking she is right. It was a miracle getting pregnant with Noah. I wrap my arms around her and fall asleep with her.
The next few weeks everyone is doing great. I am starting my tour again now that Colleen is healthier and she is no longer pregnant. My first show is in two days and I am flying out today. I am so excited to get on the road but not to leave my wife and kids. "Baby!" I yell down the hall. "Yup" Colleen answers. "When do you fly out?" I ask. "The 22nd" she replies. I type it into my phone quickly as Colleen will be joining me in 5 days and will stay with me for 5 days before returning back to the kids. I zip up my suitcase and pull it to the door. "I made lunch before you go" she says. I nod and sit down at the table with Lily on my lap. We sit together and giggle as her and I act silly. "You two are exactly the same personality" Colleen says as she shakes her head and clears the dishes. I pick up Lily and kiss her and hug her tight. She is clinging onto me so tight and is crying. She knows she won't see me for a few weeks. "See you soon. On Mommy's phone tonight ok?" I say before kissing her cheek. She nods and I place her down. I lean into Noah's car seat and kiss him as he sleeps. I then walk over to Colleen. "See you in a few days. Love you" I whisper clinging onto her tight. She nods and kisses me. "Be careful baby. Love you" she says. I turn around and grab my bag and roll out to my waiting taxi with tears rolling down my cheeks.
Over the next few days I constantly call and text Colleen about the kids. I miss her already. Tonight I call and Rachel answers her phone. "Rachel?" I say in a bit of a panic. "Hey Josh" she replies. "Where is Colleen?" I ask. "Uhhh bathing the kids" she says. "Ok tell her to call me when she can. Love ya" I say and hang up. I jump back onto my laptop and continue editing my vlog waiting for her call.
