Josh POV
I run into the bathroom. Colleen is crying. "Are you bleeding baby?" I ask. "I have been. Not anymore" she says. She holds onto me. "Joshua we can't loose this baby" she cries. I bring her back to the bed and sit her down. I jump on her phone and call her doctor and tell them whats going on. I can bring her in now the secretary says. I call Rachel " Rachel can you come watch Lily? Colleen is spotting. I need to bring her in to get looked at" I say watching Colleen cry. Rachel agrees and I hang up. "Rachel is on her way babe. She is down the road at the grocery store" I say sitting beside her holding her hand. She lays back on the bed and rubs her stomach. "Love you" I say. "Love you too" she says. Finally I hear Rachel unlock our door and make her way to our bedroom. Colleen starts crying when she sees her. "Colleen lets go sis. You will be fine" Rachel says as we help her walk out the door to the car. We silently drive to the doctor. We walk right in and the doctor tells her the baby is fine since she stopped bleeding. He does an ultrasound and shows us the baby. "The baby is fine" Colleen says grabbing my hand smiling as we stare at the screen. "Wonderful news" I say kissing her cheek. "We are supposed to fly to NYC tomorrow. Should we still? " I say to the doctor. "I want you to delay it for a few days just to make sure "the doctor says. "Can you do that?" the doctor asks Colleen. "I hope so" she says. I help her off the table and we walk out to the car.
"Can you call your manager?" I ask rubbing Colleens hand. She grabs the phone and calls Brenda her manager. She explains the situation and Brenda tells her she will call her back. I walk her into the house and we say goodbye and thank you to Rachel after they hug. We walk back to the bedroom and I push all the packing stuff off our bed. Colleen climbs in and I cover her. Her brain is still overthinking. "Joshua this is bringing back the nightmare from the first pregnancy" she cries. "The doctor showed you the baby. Just take it easy" I say sitting beside her. She nods and grabs my hand staring at it. "I am so lucky" she says. "I am luckier sweetheart" I say as she falls asleep.
Slowly she released her grip on me and her phone started to ring but I grabbed it and quietly left the room. "Hello?" I ask. "Hey Josh its Brenda. Hows Colleen?" Brenda says. "She is worried and stressed but the baby seems ok. Doctor just rather she rest for a few days to make sure" I say looking out the living room window until I hear Lily wake up on the baby monitor. Brenda tells me she rebooked everything by three days no problem. I hang up and walk back to Lilys room. My other beauty needs me and my beautiful wife is the one who gave me her.
