Josh POV
I am so stressed with everything that is happening with Colleen. We are beyond the point of no return. She is now 23 weeks and has to remain in bed. The girls have told me privately that they will definitely put her into labor around 36-37 weeks so that she can be done with this. We haven't told her that yet. I walk in and see Colleen sleeping with her oxygen mask on just to help her out. She isn't struggling since she has her daily shots but finds it settles her system when she is resting. Her belly is peaking out from the blankets. I sit beside her not disturbing her and watch her breathe. I love to watch her sleep. I see her slowly open her eyes and look at me. "Hey baby" I say grabbing her hand. "Hi" she says softly. "Doing ok?" I ask. She nods. "I could feel you staring at me" she says giggling. "Watching over you sweetheart" I say. "We are going outside today on the deck. I bought you an over sized lounge chair to lay in the shade to be with the kids" I say getting her to sit up. She nods and removes her oxygen mask. She walks outside with me and I lay her down in the lounge chair. I prop her up with some pillows and a cozy blanket. Instantly Lily and Noah run over as Tricia walks over with Jasmine from the swing set. "Mommy!" Lily yells. "Hey baby girl!" Colleen says scooping her up. "How is my baby Mommy?" Lily asks rubbing Colleens belly. I rub the back of Lily's head smiling. "Baby is growing" Colleen says hugging her. Lily nods and lays on Colleen as Noah joins in. "Okay guys let Mommy breathe" I say concerned. The kids back off and snuggle on her. "Can I have Jasmine, Tricia?" Colleen asks. Tricia nods and passes her to Colleen. Colleen looks so happy as all three kids cannot get enough of her. "Babe I am going to start the BBQ for lunch" I say turning around. "I will help if you are okay with the kids?" Tricia asks me. "Yes I got them" Colleen says. "Lily and Noah you need to stay here with Mommy. I can't chase after you" I hear Colleen say sternly. "Okay Mommy" Lily says. I turn as I walk to the house and see them all snuggling happily.
I walk back with some burgers that I barbecued and place them on the lounger. The kids jump right on them as I made them mini slider burgers. Colleen is laughing at how much they are enjoying them. I pass Colleen her a real size burger and some salad. She quietly eats watching everyone around her. Just to see her so happy and not sick in this moment is heartwarming for me. I cannot wait for the next 3 months to be over and done with.
