Josh pov
The last week was rough but I made it through. Today we are going for another blood test and to get looked at by the doctor. Colleen is driving us so I just sit there and watch her creepily. "Love you Colleen" I say getting emotional. "Josh don't make me cry baby. I love you more" she says. We pull up to the doctors office and get brought right back to a room. "Mr Evans can I take some blood please?" a nurse asks. "Sure" I say holding out my arm. She takes it and labels it. "Now if you provide some urine as well" she says as she passes me a cup. I nod and hop off the table and head to the washroom as Colleen sits and waits for me to return. I return back and pass over the cup to her and the doctor comes in right away. "Josh how did you manage this week?" He asks. I tell him about the nausea and hospital visit as he nods. "Unfortunately this is quite typical" he says. "Any burns or swelling?" He asks. "Yes" I reply. "Can I see please?" He asks. I nod and take my pants down and show him. "Feels weird with no pants on" I say embarrassingly. "Don't worry I ask everyone to get naked" he says laughing. "This one here looks really bad" he says pointing to my lower stomach. I nod. "It hurts the most" I say. "Going to try some new cream" he says as I put my pants back on. "Now Josh I am going to get the lab to give me the test results back later today. I will call you ok?" He says. I nod smiling. I grab Colleens hand as she looks super stressed. I hug her as we walk out to our car. "Baby don't get upset ok?" I say to her as she wipes her face. "Just need you healthy baby" she says squeezing me. She looks up to my face and kisses me as her hand runs along the back of my neck. "Mmm baby" I say. "Making me get goosebumps" I say smiling. She squeezes me one more time and we get in the car and drive to get my prescription. We get it filled and make our way to In and Out and bring it home for everyone. Lilly loves it like Colleen and Noah loves french fries. I look over at Colleen as we are all sitting at the dining room table and she is breast feeding Jasmine as she eats. "I am multi tasking" she says smiling. I start laughing as Rachel rolls her eyes. We play with the kids in the backyard and do chalk drawings on the driveway. It was such a great family day. Soon enough my phone rings and Colleen stares at me nervously. We walk back to our bedroom as I answer it. "Josh, Hello" my doctor says. "Hi there" I reply gulping. "Well I think we need another treatment or two. Doesn't seem to be helping. I am going to try a mixture of Iv and radiation starting tomorrow ok?" He asks. I nod with tears running down my face. Colleen knows it isn't good and starts to cry. "Josh?" The doctor asks again. "Sorry yes. I will see you tomorrow at 8am again?" I say watching Colleen who is now in a corner on the floor. "Yes. See you tomorrow Josh" he says as I hang up. I walk over to Colleen as we hug. I sit on the floor and she crawls onto my lap. "I am sorry. I should be consoling you " she says kissing my neck. "Just shows me that you love me" I say kissing her lips. We feverishly make out as tears stream down our faces. I get up on my knees and stand up and pull her up to stand with me. I start taking her clothes off and mine. "Josh can you do this? I mean are you too sore?" She asks me. "No babe. I need you more than ever before" I say as my hand runs down her back to her butt. I pick her up and walk over to the side of the bed and lay her down. I lean into her breasts and lick and kiss them slowly as her hands roam around the back of my neck. She pulls me to her lips as we kiss again. We lay there for awhile kissing. I roll her on top of me. "Condom?" I ask. "Don't need it anymore" she says. "I want to be sure" I say grabbing one. I roll it on but its killing me. I am overly sensitive. "Take it off Josh" Colleen says rolling it off. She straddles me slowly. "Ok?" She asks.
