Josh POV

Colleen slept all day and into the evening on the couch. I made some dinner for us and kept my eye on her. I was standing in the kitchen pouring a drink when I heard Colleen burp. I smiled and turned around as she slowly sat herself up. "Sleeping beauty...how are you baby?" I say. "Better" she says rubbing her face. "What time is it?" she asks. "8:02pm" I say. "Hungry?" I ask her. She nods as I help her up and we walk over to the kitchen table. I sit her down and bring her a salad to start off with as I grab the rest of our meal I made and bring it to her. "Josh this is so good" she says as I place the pasta dish I made in front of her. I sliced some chicken on top of it as well. "Lots of protein to help rebuild that shoulder muscle" I say smiling as I kiss her lips. She eats slowly but she finishes almost all of it. I grab the plates and help her stand up. "I need to shower" she says. We make our way down the hallway and I strip her down out of her onesie. "Ok stay still Colleen" I say as I slowly take her wrap off. I get everything off and stare at her back. She can't see me but I cover my mouth as I see how swollen she is and the stitches that run along her back. She turns to face me and she can tell I am upset. "Does it look bad?" she asks. "Just looks painful and sore" I reply. She smiles and steps into the shower as I wait for her. She needs helping washing her hair so I reach in and do that for her. Finally she steps out and I pat down her stitches and reapply a dressing patch and rewrap her arm like the nurses showed me. I dry the rest of her off and put her back in her onesie. She sits on the edge of the bed as I brush through her hair. I start kissing her neck. "Colleen you are so beautiful baby" I say. She turns to face me and smiles as she leans in to kiss me. "Josh you are my everything" she says. We hug for a few minutes and I get up to grab her meds as she climbs back into bed. I slide in beside her as she falls asleep on me. I love her more everyday.
I wake up the next morning and Colleen is no longer in bed. I panic and sit up and make my way through the house looking in each room along the way. I see her sitting at the dining room table at her laptop crying. "Colleen?" I ask as I walk over to her. She looks at me apologetically. "Tell me you didn't use your arm" I ask. "A little but then I stopped" she says. "Colleen you need to listen! Stop working. I told you I will help you answer emails. You really want to ruin your surgery to answer your email?" I ask. She looks down and then slowly stands up crying. I can't tell whether the tears are from pain or because she felt silly for not listening. I grabbed for her but she pulled away. She continued down the hall to our room and laid down. I crawled in behind her and snuggled her. "I just want you better babe. I want you to be able to hold our baby with no pain" I say smiling knowing that will make her smile. She rolls over to face me as she runs her hand through my hair. "I want that too" she says.

**A/N: as per Colleens periscope last night where she should be resting her shoulder but instead played the Eukele for 20 minutes, I felt I need to post this today .....she wont listen and is so stubborn!!!
