Colleen pov
Josh is following me around like crazy day after day. "Josh baby I will tell you if I am going into labour" I say laughing as he stands behind me at the washing machine. "Ok" he says sadly and turns to walk away. I grab his arm and pull him into me. I wrap my arms around his neck. "I love you baby" I say before kissing him on his lips. He pulls me into him and kisses me again. "Colleen love you. I am worried about this birth for some reason" he says hugging me tighter. "It will be fine babe" I say as I turn around to continue folding. I pick up the laundry basket and go to bring it to Lilys room. I waddle down the hallway and out to the living room and instantly feel myself fade. I see Josh at the kitchen counter pouring a coffee as Lily sits in her highchair. "Josh" I say weakly before sitting on the floor before I fall down. He spins around and rushes to me with candy he grabbed off the counter. I am laying down as he gets to me. "Colleen sit up babe and eat this" he says shoving candy in my mouth. I am pouring sweat as I cling to him and panic. "Can't breathe Josh" I say gasping. "Yes you can babe. Calm down" he says as he rocks me. I close my eyes and feel him kiss the top of my hairline. "Ok?" He asks after two minutes. I nod as he races to the kitchen counter for my glucose machine. He runs back over to me and takes my reading. "Still too low" he says. "Another candy please" he says passing me one. I take it and I hear him on his phone to Tara asking her advice. He hangs up and runs over to the diaper bag and comes back with my glucose shot Glucagon. "Colleen sweetheart let me give you this" he says as he jabs me in the thigh with it. He drops it on the floor and gathers me in his arms again. "Love you baby" he says and I can tell he is getting emotional. I rub his back. "My knight in shining armour" I say smiling up at him. He smiles and kisses me. "Tara said sometimes these episodes happen right before going into labour so I am going to follow you around whether you like it or not" he says. "Ok" I say deep breathing. I look down at the floor around me and there is a syringe, my glucose machine, my candies, alcohol wipes all surrounding me. "You made such a mess" I say grabbing his waist tighter. "It was worth it babe" he says.
I lay down on the couch with Lily. Josh sits across from us and stares at me. I feel myself fading again. "Josh its happening again babe" I look at him panicking. He comes and sits beside me as he calls Tara. "She is coming over now babe" he says as I drink juice. I stand up and walk quickly over to the kitchen. "Babe sit down please" Josh asks following behind me. I lean into the sink and start vomiting crying. "Josh I feel terrible" I say. He calls Rachel to come over to take Lily. I sink to the floor against the kitchen cupboards with him. I hear the doorbell a few minutes and hear Tara talking to me as I open my eyes. She is talking to Katie and Josh. "Gonna get Noah born today otherwise she will keep crashing. Noah is too much on her system" Tara says. I feel Josh grab and kiss my hand as I come too.
