Colleen POV
Josh and I make our way home and order some pizza while sitting with the kids. Tricia was nice enough to stay until after dinner and bathe them for us and put them to bed as she knew both of us were exhausted. I climb into bed and flop down almost instantly falling asleep at 8:30pm. I see Josh walk in to our bedroom and climb into bed as he throws the blanket on me and pulls me close. I lean into his neck and kiss it. "So glad you are ok" I say looking at his stitched incision on his belly. I put my hand on it and kiss him again. "Joshua I love you" I say. "I know babe. Love you too" he says running his fingers through my ponytail. "Its been a long two weeks without you" he says as he kisses me gently again. I grab his neck and kiss him harder. "Babe" I say looking at him. "I am too tired" I say laughing. He laughs and nods. "Me too sweetheart. We are getting old" He says as we cuddle up and sleep.
The next morning comes and I can't move as I am still exhausted. I roll onto my back and look over at Josh as he stirs. "Morning baby" he says rubbing my cheek. "Morning, how are you feeling?" I ask. "Good babe" he says as he moved he closes his eyes and winces. "Easy baby" I say with my hand on his chest. "Is Tricia here?" he asks. "Yes she was here about 30 minutes ago to be here for when Noah wakes up. She knows we are exhausted" I say kissing his nose. "How is the baby?" he asks. "Good but I am so tired" I say. "Colleen you are almost 20 weeks. You have another 20 weeks to go baby" he says kissing my forehead. "Why is your pump sitting beside the bed?" he asks. Shit I just remember I took it off last night and forgot to click it back on. "I just took it off because I am going to jump into the shower" I say lying. I stand up and make my way to the shower. I close the bathroom door and slide down the door. "Colleen how come the water isn't on babe?" he asks on the other side of the door a few minutes later. I wake up some what. "Taking my makeup off" I say standing up quickly. I see Josh come in and look right through me. He has the pump in his hand and clicks it on to my line and it instantly starts giving me insulin with a small beeping noise. "Colleen why do you lie?" he asks annoyed before turning around to leave. I grab onto the counter and feel myself slide. I see Josh spin around and slide back down to me. "Colleen!" he yells crying as I black out.
