Colleen POV
I wake up a few hours later to hear Noah crying through the monitor. I throw my comforter off to get up but hear Josh getting up as well. "I got him babe" he says sweetly. I lay back down and I hear him through the baby monitor talking to him and changing him before I hear him say "Lets go see Mommy". I sit up in bed knowing he is bringing him to me. I see him walk in with him and my heart melts. My beautiful husband holding his son. "Thanks babe" I say as he passes me him. I lift up my tshirt and start feeding him as Josh turns on the lights. "He eats so well" Josh says rubbing his feet as he sits in my arms. "Yes and thank god for that. I feel like exploding otherwise" I say smiling at him. I finish feeding him on both sides and pass him to Josh to burp as I go to the washroom. I sit down and need to pee so bad. I pee a little but not as much as my system is telling me I need to. I instantly think my kidneys but don't want to alarm Josh. I see Josh smile as he brings Noah back to his crib asleep as I crawl into bed again. I instantly fall asleep.
I wake an hour later and feel terrible. I know this feeling. I call my doctor from my cell and explain to him what is happening and he says to come right away. I call Rachel and ask her to come over and explain to her what is happening. "Does Josh know?" she asks as I hear her running. "Not yet" I say. "Getting him now" I say. "Ok see you in 5" she says and she hangs up. I walk down the hall with lower abdominal pain starting and see him sitting with Lily eating toast. I don't walk all the way through to the kitchen so I call him from the hall. "Joshua" I say. "Come here please" I ask. I hear him walk over and he sees me leaning against the wall. "We need to go see the doctor babe. I am not feeling well. The doctor knows we are coming and Rachel will be here in 5 minutes for the kids" I say. He grabs my arms and walks me down the hall to our room and sits me on the bed. "Whats wrong babe?" he asks getting dressed quickly. "Lower abdominal pain and I can't pee" I say as he finishes throwing jeans and a t-shirt on. He walks me down the hall as Rachel walks in. "Mommy" Lily says. "Morning buttercup" I say smiling trying not to draw attention to me not feeling well to alarm her. She doesn't notice and Rachel starts getting crayons out for her. "Rachel, Noah will need to eat in about an hour. Josh grab some breast milk from the freezer to defrost please" I ask holding onto the kitchen counter. He grabs 3 containers and throws them in the sink in hot water. Rachel is hugging me tight and looking at me until Josh is finished getting things ready for Noah and we walk out the door.
