The Deep Oneshots Part 1

Jeffrey and Hydra au

invisigerb25 wanted to see Jeffrey sneak out and meet Hydra so here we go. Also I don't usually do first person pov so bare with me. Enjoy

Jeffrey's pov

I watch as my human headed to bed. I knew it wouldn't be long before he'd fall asleep. A few minutes later and he out like a light. So I decided to sneak. I swam down the tubes to the moon pool and jumped in. I dived down to the coral reef, I wanted to make some friends. The reef was unusually quite, there wasn't a fish in sight. After a few minutes of swimming around I finally spotted someone.

"HYDRA!!!"

I swam up to her, I was exited to see her again.

"Hello Jeffrey."

"What are you doing here shouldn't you be with the shouty man?"

"His name is Dolos, and no I left."

"Oh... well do you wanna stay with us!"

"Your humans wouldn't mind?"

"Nope they're all about helping people!"

"Well if you're sure."

Jeffrey darted back up to the Aronnax Hydra followed him. She helped Jeffrey get back into his tubes and followed him.

"Let me give you a tour!"

After showing Hydra around the entire ship the two head back down to the reef.

Third person pov

When Ant woke up he immediately turned to greet Jeffrey. Only to see that he wasn't there. He shot out of bed and ran down to the kitchen.

"Mum have you seen Jeffrey?!"

"No, why?"

"He wasn't there when I woke up!"

"Maybe he's just exploring the reef?"

Ant ran down towards the moon pool and jumped into his Knight.

He spent almost an hour searching the reef he was starting to give up when Jeffrey darted up to him.

"Jeffrey!!"

Jeffrey swam around him. He was clearly happy to see him.

"Where have you been!?"

Thats when Hydra swam up.

"Oooohh you made a friend cool! Does your friend wanna come inside?"

Ant got his answer when Jeffrey and Hydra started swimming towards the Aronnax.

"Hey! Wait up!"

When they got back to the Aronnax they were greeted by Fontaine.

"... what's Hydra doing here?"

"She's Jeffrey's new friend!"

"No I mean we're miles from the floating market!"

"Oh right... should we go look for Dolos?"

"Yes, but first let's get breakfast."

Fontaine picked Ant up in the claw and placed his Knight back in place. Ant jumped out and ran over to Jeffrey and Hydra.

"Hey we'll be back soon don't go anywhere."

After that he ran down the hall to join the rest of his family.

Hydra's basically a Nekton now.
