Monday morning, Macy entered the office with a pile of manuscripts on her desk. However, before he could step inside, Jen approached her. The woman said something that made her a little surprised because it was related to a fan sign event. Macy told her to talk while sitting down.

Jen said when she spoke with Agent Lee last Sunday by telephone, Agent Lee informed Writer Coangco's decision about the fan sign event.

Writer Coangco agreed to the event, albeit with a few conditions. Especially regarding the number of people who will be invited to the event. Only thirty people. It wasn't really the amount Macy was expecting.

Actually, regarding the fan sign event, she and the PR team planned to do it in secret. She wanted the number of people invited to be slightly more than the number requested by the Writer.

However, it seems that with this limited number, it will have an impact on sales later. That is if the PR and marketing team can execute the event well.

"Thirty people. That's quite a number. Moreover, we know how Writer Coangco's experience with fan sign events is. Then how is the selection of the thirty people?"

Jen mumbled softly. "We will think about the best way. For now, maybe a random draw. When they buy Writer Coangco's novel, we will give a lottery number on the purchase of one book. So, when they buy the three novels of the trilogy, they will get three numbers. It's still a temporary idea because it's still too risky."

"That's right. One person can buy multiple books to increase their chances of being selected. Especially with Writer Coangco's obsessive fans which is quite extreme. I don't think it can be done that way. How about a raffle through St. Haven? They can fill in personal information only once. So, we can do a little background research before deciding who gets the fan sign invite. That would reduce the risk, wouldn't it?" Macy suggested.

"That seems doable. I will hold a follow-up meeting regarding this event. After everything is ready, I will give you another report," said Jen.

Macy smiled slightly and nodded. Then Jen left her office afterward. The Editor-in-chief took a deep breath and then glanced at the pile of manuscripts that had been neglected for a week.

Jeez... she should have come straight to work as soon as she felt her back was much better than when she had to not work for a week.

Now, she has to work overtime to finish all the scripts if she wants everything to go according to the set schedule. Macy put her glasses back on and took a manuscript then with a pen in his hand. With another sigh, she started doing her work.

Macy almost bumped into a man who looked like a food delivery guy when she was about to get out of the elevator. She lowered her head slightly as an apology then walked towards her unit slightly limping.

Today, she was forced to work overtime because she had to finish all her pending work for a week. Although not everything was finished because Hani suddenly contacted her. And when she found out that Macy was still in the office, the Lawyer immediately sent her home. Well... with a little threat, of course because she knows that Macy was not the type of person who obeys easily.

Macy exhaled slowly and was about to enter the door code number. Until she was surprised by Andrew who noticed her in front of the door of her apartment unit. Since then, Macy has been walking with her head down and slightly ignoring her surroundings. She noticed that there was a bag of food in the man's hand.
