Hani held Macy's hand tightly. The nurse said that in the morning, she was awake. However, when the lawyer came, Macy was still asleep. A few minutes earlier, the doctor had come for a routine visit and a brief examination. The doctor gave a little explanation about her friend's condition.

Overall, Macy's physical condition will recover in a few days. But the restoration of the vocal cords will take a bit longer. The doctor's concern is about her trauma. When she woke up in the early morning, Macy still didn't give any reaction. Maybe because of the drug. However, when the effects of the drug started to wear off, they could see how the real reaction would be.

Hani took a deep breath. She didn't understand how Macy got all this catastrophe in such a short time. It feels like not long ago, she just got out of the hospital. And now, she's back in the same hospital again. However, her concern right now is how to explain to Marcus about his mother's condition.

Sooner or later, the boy will ask where his mommy is.

Then, there was a knock on the door. Hani turned her head when the door opened. She was a little surprised to see Andrew and David walking in. Well, not really. Because the writer will insist on coming to the hospital to see his lover's condition.

Slowly, Hani pulled her hand away as Andrew walked closer. The writer was on the other side of Macy's bed. Carefully, his fingers touched the woman's forehead. "How is she?" the man asked quietly.

"She will recover. But the doctor said that it would take longer for her vocal cords to recover," replied Hani who then glanced at the Agent who was standing at the end of the bed. The man just shrugged his shoulders, as if to say that he couldn't do anything to hold on to Andrew any longer. She sighed softly.

"That's good. She would recover, no matter the time it took. The important thing is she will recover," muttered Andrew who did not take his attention to Macy's figure.

The lawyer nodded. "But doctors are still a little wary of her psychological condition. They will observe for a few days to see her trauma reaction."

Andrew didn't say anything. Slowly, he took Macy's hand and held it tightly. Hani and David could only watch. He smiled slightly at his girlfriend. Even though her condition is not good enough, at least, he can still hold her hand.

He then sat on the edge of the bed. Today, he will not leave the woman's side. No matter what the nurse or the doctor who will come to do the examination thinks, he will not leave his lover.

Hani took a deep breath. She glanced at the watch on her wrist. It's about time she went to the police station. "I'm sorry..." Her words caught the attention of David and Andrew. "I have to go to the police station now. Are you guys still going to stay here?"

The agent glanced at Andrew. He knew very well that the man would not go anywhere before Macy woke up. "I will come with you to the police station."

The lawyer's eyebrows rose when she heard David's words.

"I don't think Andrew wants to leave Macy, even though he really wants to make sure that Katy is in prison. So I thought, I can come with you to the police station so that he can calm down a bit," said David.

Hani nodded slightly while glancing at the writer who didn't respond. She could see the man smiling at David's words. Well, it seemed the two men knew each other well.

"Okay, no problem for me," said Hani.

Ken took a deep breath. Today he will meet with Katy. The Detective tells him to wait a moment, before one of the officers will summon him to the interrogation room. It was as if he had never come to the police station so often in his life. In fact, he never expected to have to deal with the police.
