David noticed Andrew who was still talking on the phone. He bit his finger nervously. The email from CR they received earlier said that there was a slight problem in the production of the man's latest novel. Indeed, in the editing and proofreading process, no significant problems were found, but CR found that there were indications of plagiarism. This problem had never happened before, so they were really wide-eyed and shocked about it.

The agent approached the writer who then ended his conversation with his editor at CR. "How was it?"

Andrew took a deep breath. He put his phone on the table and sat limply. "I have to go to CR immediately. I have to go through the book and see how many pages it has in common with my novel."

"CR can't do it alone? I mean, they could contact the author of the book and-"

"They've done it. But it would be much better if I also saw it myself. After all, I have the research results and the original draft on my laptop,"

David nodded. That's true. But still, it was so sudden. "Would it take just for a few days?"

"Possibly. Besides, I won't miss Macy's inauguration either."

"I'll make a ticket reservation. If we're lucky, we can get a flight tonight," said the agent who then took out his laptop from his backpack to order tickets.

Andrew mumbled softly and took a deep breath. Hell, he didn't expect to have plagiarism problems like this. He then grabbed his cell phone and called his girlfriend. If his cousin can get tickets to Chicago tonight, he might not be able to meet the woman. There was a ringing tone on the first try. Soon, he heard Macy's voice. He smiled at his lover's voice.

"Hey, love. Are you still in St. Havens?" he asked.

"No. Jared took me to Moon Tailor's to order a suit. He said that he wanted to order a dress for my inauguration. After that, we will have lunch. Why? Do you want to meet?"

Andrew glanced at David who was still busy with his laptop, then turned the chair so that he was facing the window that showed the street outside the studio building. "No. I just wanted to tell you something."

"About what?"

"I have to go to Chicago. My editor at CR said there was a slight problem with the latest draft that I sent to them, so I had to get there to sort it out. If David gets a ticket, maybe we'll go tonight."

"Oh? Okay. But is the problem serious?"

He smiled when he could hear Macy's worried voice. "It's not that serious, don't worry. So, I might just be gone for a few days. One week at most."

"Okay. Call me when you check in?"

"Of course. Even after landing, I will also contact you directly," he said, a little guilty.

Of course, Andrew would feel that way. Tonight, he plans to take the woman to dinner at a restaurant. Moreover, Marcus is currently with Ken on Boracay Island. Macy will be alone in her apartment. Haha... if only he could take his girlfriend with him to Chicago. But now St. Haven was busy with the expo event and she couldn't possibly leave her responsibilities.

"Drew? Do you just want to say that?"

He mumbled softly. "Sorry, this is so sudden."

"It's okay, love. I can understand. Alright, Jared has called me. Remember to call me, okay?"
