Andrew entered Macy's apartment at seven o'clock with several boxes of food. This morning when delivering breakfast, he saw that there was no food in the refrigerator and he also didn't want the woman to eat ramen or any instant foods.
He smiled when he saw his lover's shoes in the foyer. Then he went to the dining table to put all the food boxes. He was about to get some plates, but instead he turned and walked to Macy's room.
Opening the door slowly, he saw the figure of his girlfriend lying on her stomach on the bed. Still hasn't changed her clothes and is still wearing her black socks.
Either the editor fell asleep from exhaustion, or just laying down.
"Mace..." he called softly. He walked to the bed, to the side where he could see his lover's face.
Oh, Macy was closing her eyes. And Andrew could see the lines of exhaustion on her beautiful face. Hell, he doesn't know what she was doing in St. Haven for her to push her limit to this.
Carefully, he sat down touching Macy's head and gently stroked the black mane of her hair.
"Mace...?" he called her out softly.
Macy muttered under her breath, then slowly opened her eyes. She looked at her man and smiled faintly. Andrew sighed and sat on the edge of the bed.
His hand was still moving through Macy's hair. And the woman also didn't move from her current position, just enjoying the warm touch of her boyfriend's hand on her head.
"When did you arrive?"
"I have no idea when," whispered Macy. "But I think, it doesn't take more than ten minutes."
Andrew nodded. "Have you had your dinner?"
"I had a Sandwich."
The man's brow furrowed. Oh, if it's just a sandwich, then it's not enough.
"Then have dinner first. Change your clothes and I'll bring dinner."
Macy exhaled slowly. She turned around to change her position, then took her lover's hand and held it tightly, intertwining their fingers. Andrew watched her closely.
"Why?" asked the writer.
"When are you going to Seattle?"
Oh, that was unexpected. He wasn't even sure if his lover remembered their conversation about Seattle.
"Hmm? Maybe at the end of next month. Why did you ask?"
"Oh."
Macy contemplated. At the end of next month, maybe Marcus' custody case trial is over and for the expo, since her responsibilities have been transferred to Jino, maybe she can relax a bit. Only in Katy's case is the problem...
Andrew waited until the woman spoke again. It felt like it was just a simple question when Macy brought it up suddenly. However, seeing from his lover's expression, she looked so doubtful. He smiled slightly then rubbed his girlfriend's cheek with his other hand.
Macy looked at him closely.
"About your offer at that time..." Macy muttered. She looked away and took a deep breath. "You said that you want to take me to Seattle. Can I still come?"
Andrew smiled widely. Heck, the woman felt nervous just because of this? With a face that looks pink, it makes her adorable. When Macy didn't hear the man's answer, she decided to glance at her lover. And found the writer smiling at her. She doesn't know what kind of answer was that.
