Andrew stepped closer to Macy, forcing her back until Macy met the wall. Andrew approached her, placed his hands on both sides of Macy's head and leaned so close that Macy could feel the warmth from his body, and the distinctive smell of his cologne.
Andrew closed the gap between them, kissing Macy once more. She grabbed the man's shoulders to pull him closer, groaning as Andrew pushed his legs between Macy's thighs; not quite as hot as Macy thought, but she didn't complain. She could feel something under Andrew's jeans.
"Andrew..." Macy mumbled breathlessly in Andrew's mouth. "I want... Can I touch you?"
"Yeah," Andrew hissed, grabbed Macy's hand and led him to his pants.
While Macy's focus was broken, Andrew's lips touched Macy's jaw and neck, kissing and biting the sensitive skin. Macy's moans turned into sighs as Andrew slipped his fingers under the belt of her jeans to touch her.
Macy's body reacted to Andrew's touch, then moved her trembling fingers to unbutton the man's pants to free the writer's. Andrew shuddered as Macy touched him.
"Fuck..." Andrew gasped, dropping his head on Macy's shoulder. "Fuck... don't stop."
Macy caressed him slowly. He grabbed Macy's hip with one hand as he pushed her forward so he could pull down the woman's pants, and it was Macy's turn to curse when he touched it perfectly.
Andrew's movements were faster, more aggressive than Macy's, prompting the woman to speed up her own movements to match Andrew's pace.
He then moved his head to touch his forehead with Macy's, and when Macy opened her eyes, Andrew was watching her intently, his pupils dilated. Andrew's lips opened and reddened, his breath panting. Macy didn't take her eyes off the man's mouth, their mouths were close to each other but not enough to kiss.
Macy could feel the pressure as Andrew kept touching her non-stop, and it wasn't until she felt an orgasm that soaked her that she looked away, her eyes closed. Andrew's mouth touched hers, biting her lips and kissing her quite passionately as he spilled his on Macy's hands
"Fuck..." he muttered as he pulled away. "That was..."
"Yeah,"

Macy woke up on the sofa, alone. She pulled off the blanket and got up slowly. Her eyes were fixed on the laptop and all the piles of research papers belonging to Andrew. She also saw a mug with a post-it stuck to the surface. She grabbed it and read the message the man had left.
I Went to the supermarket for half an hour. Well... maybe forty-five minutes.
Let's have dinner together, okay?
-Andrew
Macy smiled faintly reading the message. Then she reached for the mug filled with milk that was no longer warm. Maybe Andrew has been gone long enough. She drank it slowly, finishing it until the last drop.
She noticed all of Andrew's work lying on the coffee table. She took some paper and read its contents. But only briefly checked the contents of the paper because the results of research conducted by Andrew were in another language. After returning some of the papers, her eyes fell on the piles of pamphlets.
She read them one by one. "Xiamen. Thrush. Saipan. New Zealand. Georgian. Ragusa?"
And there are pamphlets from other countries and cities. Macy put all the pamphlets back on the coffee table.
That's right, Andrew's habit. Even though the man had told her that he found a reason to stay in Manila, it seemed that wasn't enough. The reason 'Macy Cruz' is still not convincing enough for the man to stay.
With a heavy sigh, she went to the kitchen to return the mug to wash it.
Then there was the sound of the door lock opening. Macy also heard the sound of plastic bags rubbing together. After rinsing the mug, she turned off the water tap and put the mug on the shelf.
"Oh, you're awake," said Andrew who looked happy. He put the shopping bag on the counter. He then approached Macy and hugged the woman. "Feeling much better?"
"What do you mean?" Macy asked quietly.
"Well... you know. Or are you still feeling awkward?"
Macy exhaled. Andrew's hug was so warm, but if she's being honest, she also felt awkward like the man said. This was her first relationship after her divorce.
"A little," she admitted.
Andrew smiled and touched the editor's cheek with his soft fingers. "That's inevitable, isn't it? After all, I am your first relationship after your divorce."
Macy nodded. Then Andrew kissed her lips briefly. "That's okay. We will do it slowly. There's no need to rush because I'm not going anywhere." The man added.
Macy looked at Andrew closely. "Is that true?"
"It is. I did tell you I would stay, didn't I?"
"Then what about the pamphlets on the table?"
One of Andrew's eyebrows rose. "Pamphlets? Oh... it's from David. He gave it after going to the tourism office. I've said it before to look for a less 'crowded' city because I'm planning to take a short hiatus. I haven't told him about the change of plans. Why? Did you think I'd still go, because of that pamphlet?"
Macy released herself from Andrew's arms. She kept her distance from Andrew a little. With her arms folded in front of her chest to protect herself, Macy leaned against the counter and looked at Andrew seriously.
"Your plans can still change at any time."
"Macy..."
Macy turned her face and saw a bag filled with groceries. "What do you want for dinner?" she asked, changing the subject.
Andrew looked at his lover closely. Their relationship is still new and this is just the beginning.
The first thing he had to do was to convince Macy. Talking about it a few times wouldn't make him believe her right away.
He sighed in resignation. "Roasted beef with gravy. It will match the wine you brought earlier. You can make the salad."
Macy just nodded slightly.
