"Huh?"

Macy rolled her eyes. "Are you going to keep pretending you don't understand what I'm saying?"

Andrew blinked a few times. He was still trying to digest what the woman wanted from him. Even from today's whole conversation, it all seemed so strange. He then glanced at the two empty soju bottles on the table.

Is Macy drunk? But...

He looked back at Macy carefully. He was trying to figure out whether she was drunk or not.

Macy sighed in annoyance. "If you think I'm drunk, you're wrong. I'm not drunk, Andrew Coangco. I told you, my tolerance for alcohol is quite high."

Andrew's brows furrowed. Oh, this time Macy can read his mind? And from her words earlier, she looks angry. Did he make another mistake?

Macy snorted then left Andrew and went to the living room where she immediately turned on the television. Andrew, who was still standing near the dining table could only be stunned.

He could hear the sound of the television and it woke him up. He took a deep breath and took the bowl of black bean noodles to throw it away.

After all, he will not be able to eat it.

After that, Andrew walked into the living room where he saw Macy who is busy changing channels randomly. The woman seemed not to know what to watch. He sighed and put his hands into the pockets of his jeans.

Andrew felt awkward with this situation. After their conversation and Macy suddenly asked him to kiss her, it was totally unexpected.

"Macy..."

Macy glanced at the man who just stood awkwardly. She mumbled softly. "What?"

Andrew took a deep breath and looked at her intently. "Why did you ask me to kiss you?"

Macy suddenly turned to him. As if she didn't believe Andrew's question. It sounded ironic to her.

Previously, the man kissed her without even saying anything and now when she asked for it, Andrew even questioned the reason.

"Why did you kiss me yesterday?" she asked.

Andrew flinched. Oh, Macy reversed the question. Well, maybe he shouldn't question it. "I only... Oh my God. Macy, you really weren't drunk when you asked for it?"

Macy snorted in annoyance. She threw the television remote to the other side of the couch and got up. Now she is standing right in front of him. "Would you like to check my alcohol level to be sure?" she muttered softly.

Andrew looked at her carefully. "Not that."

"Then why do you keep on asking? Previously, you freely kissed me just like that, you didn't even ask for my permission first. Then why now, when I ask you to do it, you keep on asking unimportant things?"

Andrew exhaled slowly. He took his hand out of his pants pocket. "I apologize for that. I'm really sorry. I acted inappropriately. But I don't regret it. I want to kiss you again. But, when you suddenly asked me to do it, it was so unexpected. Before, you were very angry with me, Macy. Then if I kiss you again, tonight, there's no guarantee that tomorrow morning you won't be mad at me again."

Macy didn't say anything. She was still watching the man seriously. Slowly, Andrew's hand rose and touched her hair carefully. He tidied it up a little. Andrew doesn't know why the woman insists on forcing him to kiss her. Honestly, with all their interactions so far, he thought that she would avoid him after knowing all about his problems –including about his sexuality.
