"Don't be naughty, okay? Always listen to what aunt Hani is saying." Macy said to her son.

The boy nodded slightly. He smiled at his mother.

Andrew really admires the way Macy and Ken educate Marcus. The little man knew that Macy must be worried, but he kept saying that he enjoyed staying at Hani's house and told his mother to focus on her work. Heck, for a six-year-old, Marcus was already getting too much into adult matters he shouldn't have.

"It's only for a few days. Besides, aunt Hani allows me to play games," Marcus said.

Macy smiled. "But don't play too much. You have to do the schoolwork given by your teacher."

"Yes, mommy. Before playing the game, I will do my homework first."

Macy nodded. She then took a deep breath and rubbed her son's red cheeks. Shit, it's even more difficult leaving Marcus with his father. "It's just a few days, okay? Maybe two or three days," she said.

Marcus hugged his mommy tightly. "Mommy has said it many times already. I'm tired of hearing that."

Macy hugged the boy back. "Mommy will send some of your clothes and toys to aunt Hani's house."

Marcus released his hug and kissed his mommy's cheek. "Okay, mommy."

Then Marcus approached Hani and held the lawyer's hand. Macy waved her hand and saw that her son was leaving with her friend. The lawyer helped Marcus to sit in the front seat of her car.

Macy then stood up. Andrew suddenly moved to stand behind her and touched the editor's back. The woman then started to relax a lot more. Marcus waved his hand as the car drove away.

"He'll be fine," Andrew whispered. "After all, he only lives with Hani. It's not that you can't come to see him."

Macy just nodded slightly. After the lawyer's car disappeared from her sight, she turned around and looked at Andrew and David who had lunch with them.

"I'm going back to St. Haven," she said afterward.

"We will take you," said David, ahead of Andrew.

Well, the agent thought that his cousin wanted to take his girlfriend back to St. Haven and if the staff of St. Haven saw him coming again – just being alone with the chief editor would be a little suspicious – so this time David – always – sacrificed for Andrew's sake.

Macy smiled at David, but she had to refuse. "I'll just take a taxi."

"But Macy..." Andrew tried to protest.

She took a deep breath and signaled her boyfriend not to argue with her. And it seems to work. Well, that's not too surprising for David. The man has fallen to his knees for Macy.

"Fine..." Andrew muttered with annoyance.

Macy smiled and walked away leaving the two of them to the nearest bus stop to wait for a taxi.

David watched Andrew who was still focused on driving. The man's expression was unpredictable. Especially with the explanation he just gave regarding the obsessive fan case yesterday. Katy is the mastermind. And more surprisingly Ken found out about all the plans that happened yet he didn't do anything to prevent it.

"Is that the reason behind Macy's expression earlier?" asked the agent.

Andrew nodded. He took a deep breath and looked away.

"Wow! Her ex-husband and her best friend."

Andrew also reacts the same as David. How can Macy's best friend and ex-husband be involved in a case that not only targets her but also has an impact on St. Haven? And although Hani said that Ken was not directly involved, the police said that he was entangled with the accusation of being Katy's accomplice because he knew about all the plans but never reported it to the police.

"Then what about Marcus' custody? If Kang Ken gets involved in this case, wouldn't it be a turning point for the social service and the court to give Macy the custody of the child, right?" said David.

"It's still not confirmed. Because the investigation is still ongoing and Ken's status is still a witness. It depends on how Katy reveals at the official examination."

The agent nodded. "But what is the motive? You know, this doesn't make any sense at all. The risk is too great, but Katy doesn't seem to care. With some of those obsessive fan cases, for example. Although at first, the police didn't get any clues at all, but suddenly with Ken's statement on Macy's case the other day, everything seemed to have come to light."

Without realizing it, Andrew gripped the steering wheel tightly, until his knuckles turned white.

David noticed the man's change in reaction. He glanced at the writer who seemed calm. But he knows for sure that Andrew must know something.

"Andrew..." he muttered.

Andrew took a deep breath. His body seemed to be shaking, because of the anger that was so great. David remained silent and waited for him to speak. Although the man could easily be read.

"That conniving woman wants Macy. She wants Macy only for herself."
