Macy ended her conversation with Hani when she saw Andrew, with an angry expression, walking towards the exit of the club. Behind him was David who tried to catch up. Macy was sure that there was something that made the man angry like that. Maybe because they were arguing about what happened in the studio earlier. Even though Andrew told her that he had solved the problem with David. But she still wasn't sure. Without realizing it, she half ran to Andrew before the man managed to get out.
Macy held Andrew's wrist. The writer looked at her blankly and then tried to release her hand.
"Writer Coangco..."
"Let go, Macy!"
Macy flinched. Andrew's words sounded so cold. This was the first time she had seen the man so angry. Well, maybe the second time since the blood balloon incident at St. Haven. But this was the first time he spoke so coldly to her.
"Outside there are still a lot of reporters and all your fans, Writer Coangco. If you want..." Macy's words stopped when David managed to catch up to Andrew.
Andrew grumbled in annoyance. Macy is still holding his wrist. He looked at David.
"What's the matter, Agent Lee?" Macy asked.
"Andrew...," said David. "Listen to my explanation first. I didn't mean to trick you all this time. It is just-"
"Shut up, David Lee!"
Oh, it seems their problem is not about yesterday's incident. But there's something else. Macy then made a quick decision. If Andrew and his cousin want to argue, at least they need a place that is a little private. And not in the presence of dozens of staff of St. Haven could watch them and this debate could reach the reporter's ears, oh, for now Macy doesn't want any new problems. After all, it seems that the problem between Andrew and David is personal.
"Agent Lee, follow me."
Macy then pulled Andrew to walk inside the club. But she turned down another hallway that led to a staircase leading to a room on the second floor. Heck, she is very grateful that the secretariat of the directors has fully rented this place.
Macy still pulled the man and opened a vacant room. The size is not that big. It's just a private room. The club might use it as a VIP area for their visitors. She pushed Andrew inside and waited for David. After the three of them were in the room, Macy let out a short breath.
"You two can talk here. I'm going out..."
"Wait!" Andrew exclaimed. "Stay with me. Please..."
Macy glanced at David. "Writer Coangco, I think-"
"Please, Macy..." Andrew said quietly.
Macy sighed. She looked at David who was only focused on Andrew and didn't seem to notice how his cousin asked Macy to stay. "Agent Lee, do you want me to go? Because of the matter you have to talk about..."
David looked at her. "You can stay here, Macy."
Oh, the agent didn't call her by her title. Whether it's a good thing or a bad thing, she doesn't know. She just nodded slightly and stood leaning against the door. At least she could guard a little so that no one else would barge in.
Andrew then looked at David – back to his cold gaze. "Speak. But make sure your reasons make sense, David Lee. Because twelve years is not a short time."
