Macy looked at the large tombstone with the name NINA ALEXANDRA SMITH listed in a fairly large size. She then put the bouquet of flowers under it near the tombstone and stood next to Andrew again. Suddenly her boyfriend immediately intertwined their fingers tightly. She glanced at their intertwined hands then noticed the expression on her lover's face.
Andrew said that it was the first time he visited Nina again after the last time he came before leaving for the promotion of his first novel. Since then, even when he returned to Seattle, he never came to Nina's grave again.
"Hey, Nina..."
She was still watching Andrew who was staring at the tombstone in front of him. She could see the sadness that had been hidden in the man's eyes for a long time. She didn't know what to say in a situation like this. Especially with Andrew and Nina's previous relationship. She could only tighten their grip on their hands. As if to say that she is still there and always with him.
Andrew turned to look at her and then smiled. "She's Macy, Nina. Remember... you told me to find my happiness, right? She's my happiness. She and her son. You remember when you told me that I had to let you go so that I can find a better blessing for me? It turns out you are right again. I found a better, no, actually the best blessing with a bonus." Then the man looked at the tombstone in front of them again. "You don't have to worry about me again. And I'm sorry for the past fifteen years."
And as if Nina was listening to his words, a gust of autumn wind touched both of them. It was a little damp because it had rained three hours earlier in Seattle.
The writer smiled widely and touched the tombstone. "Thank you, Nina. Rest without having any worry."

Andrew still hasn't let go of Macy's hand as they walk down the graveyard path to the car park. It took about five minutes to get to the parking area, and neither Macy nor he felt rushed.
They walked slowly side by side. Enjoying the autumn atmosphere of Seattle. Even if the date at the funeral is not the romantic thing he wants. But with dozens of oak trees by the side of the path whose leaves had turned yellowish red, it wasn't bad. And Macy has really liked this city since his car entered the Seattle city border.
"Are you sure that Addy doesn't mind keeping Marcus a little longer?" Macy asked, breaking the silence that engulfs them.
Andrew smiled and nodded his head. "Addy is much fonder of children than adults. After all, they will have fun at the funfair. If you're still worried, Mom will come with them."
"I'm not worried. It's just that this is my first time meeting your family. But asking Addy, your sister, to take care of Marcus while us..." she was silent for a moment. "You know, we can catch up to the funfair to pick him up."
"Do you want to go to a funfair?"
Funfairs in Seattle are mostly held in the fall to the most crowded in the winter. Andrew has come to the funfair several times since he was adopted by the Coangco family. But to be honest, he never liked crowds. So, if possible, he will always find an excuse to refuse to go to a funfair.
Macy slightly looked down at the path of neatly arranged stone blocks that were almost covered by the fallen oak leaves on the ground. "Not really. Just to pick up Marcus then maybe we can go somewhere else."
Andrew stopped his steps, it made Macy also have to stop because they were still holding hands. She raised her head and looked at the man.
"I know you still feel awkward with my family," said the writer who wrapped the thick scarf around her neck with his other hand. "That is a natural thing. But you don't have to worry, love. Addy likes Marcus—and so do you. So are Mom and Dad. You know, last night, after you went into your room to put Marcus to sleep, Mom asked me what she could do to make you feel more comfortable."
