Hani frowned when she saw that Macy had just returned from somewhere. Last night, she texted her friend and said that she would stop by the editor's apartment. However, the woman said that she was not in Manila and if Hani wanted to talk, they could meet the next day before lunch.

The lawyer said nothing. Then she came to Macy's apartment building in the morning and waited for her in the car in the parking basement. Waiting for Macy to come home.

When she saw Macy's car entering the parking basement, Hani was about to climb out to approach her until she realized that another car had entered the parking basement. The car was parked right next to her friend's car. Her one eyebrow raised when she found out that the owner of the car was Andrew Coangco.

Hani was still in the car while watching what was really going on. Macy, who got out of the car first, smiled at Andrew who just got out of the car. The writer approached Macy and smiled back at the woman. Heck, even from a distance, Hani could feel an aura of awkwardness. However, seeing Macy's current expression, she was sure something had happened.

Macy and Andrew then walked side by side into the building. Hani took a deep breath and tried to digest what she just witnessed. Especially with how Macy's face is now. Much different from when they met in court a few days ago.

When Hani saw her in court, Macy's face looked so pale and weak. She knew that the woman just got out of the hospital. But her appearance at that time was much worse than when Macy fell ill before.

But today, only two days after their meeting in court, Macy is much healthier and she can even smile. Oh, Hani would be happy if her friend was back healthy and could smile again. But seeing how Macy smiled at Andrew, Hani must have thought of an assumption.

"Macy Bianca Cruz, don't tell me you're in love."

Andrew tries to focus on the writing he is currently working on. He just hoped it wouldn't take long to finish. Compared to his usual novel projects, this time he only wrote something light without having to do deep research. After all, this is his own experience.

And he did not intend to publish it. This one is a gift.

"Andrew..." David called softly.

Andrew muttered without taking his focus off the laptop screen. His fingers continued to move nimbly on the keyboard.

"Email from CR? Have you read it? I forwarded the email to you," said his agent.

"I did. They said that no decision has been made to approve the novel that I sent, but it looks like there is good news," answered Andrew without looking at his agent.

David nodded slightly. Then he approached Andrew's desk and put down a pile containing several sheets of paper. Andrew glanced at him briefly. He even stopped typing for a moment to stare at David.

"What is this?"

"Several pamphlets from the tourism office and some recommendations for guesthouses. You said that after the promotions in Manila were over, you wanted to find a place that was a little quieter. You want to take a hiatus too, right?"

Andrew becomes silent for a moment. He looked back at the pile. Right, that's what he said to David before. Leaving Manila, looking for a city in another country that is quieter and to take on hiatus for some time. However, now his plans have changed slightly.

David looked at the man who looked doubtful. "Why? Would you like to stay longer here in Manila?"

"No, it's just..."
