Macy immediately approached Marcus and smiled at her son. She didn't think that the boy would wake up so quickly from his nap. She glanced at Andrew who was still sitting on the sofa with his hands covering part of his face. Heck, she could see his reddened ears and neck.

She took a deep breath and crouched down in front of Marcus. "Do you need something, sweetheart?"

"I want a drink," the little man said in a small voice.

She nodded. "Okay, mommy will get it. Go back to your room, okay?"

Marcus complied and immediately went back to his room. While Macy stood up and rushed to the kitchen to get a glass of water for her son.

Andrew, on the other hand, took a deep breath and followed the woman as soon as the boy left the living room.

He looked at his lover. "Uhm... Mace?" he muttered as he approached her.

Macy, who was pouring water into a glass, turned to Andrew who was now standing next to her.

"Yes?"

"I think we need to talk to Marcus."

Macy was silent. She put the water bottle on the counter, followed by the glass already filled with water. She then looked at the man closely. "Talk to him?"

"I know that you think he is too young to understand what is going on and we agreed to wait until the time is right. But he's seen us before. And I'm telling you that he doesn't react badly. So, I thought... this might happen again. I mean..." Andrew then could not continue his speech.

Macy could understand what he was trying to say. Of course, in the future Marcus will see more of their intimacy if the both of them are not careful.

But it's not the right time, is it?

But she suddenly remembered her own words when they talked about telling her son about their relationship. Then this is what happened. She knew that she wouldn't be able to buy any more time.

She touched Andrew's fingers, making the writer look at her again. She then nodded slightly.

"Let's tell Marcus about us."

Andrew Coangco was very, very nervous.

Much more nervous than his first experience attending his first novel fan sign event. His hands felt cold, but he didn't want to back down. It was him who suggested to Macy that they would tell Marcus what they have. And after his lover agreed, he couldn't just back off. Heck, at first, he thought that it wouldn't be as bad as he thought.

He took a deep breath. He sat on the floor of Marcus' room looking at his girlfriend who was helping her son drink. Both mother and son sat on the boy's small bed. He squeezed his hand tightly. Oh, he didn't like this restless feeling.

Even though Marcus didn't show any expression of disapproval of him and their previous conversation, in this room too, and even though the boy said that he could understand about the relationship that he wanted with his mother, it still did not give him enough confidence.

Marcus could tell that he understood, but he was only six years old. That doesn't make any sense at all.

After the boy finished drinking, Macy put the glass on the small table next to the bed. She glanced at Andrew who was sitting on the floor, even though she had told the man to take a chair or even sit on the bed, but he refused. She could see his nervous face.
