Macy had finished half of the work she had piled up after yesterday she didn't come to work. Like a miracle, today she is so focused on her work. Although some of today's meetings had to be rearranged, she was happy because she didn't seem to neglect her work.

Then she took off her glasses and rubbed her eyes slowly. Almost time to get home from work. But on her desk still piled up several manuscripts that she had to finish. Macy probably only had two days before the editors would prepare a publishing proposal.

Maybe she shouldn't have obeyed Andrew's wishes yesterday.

"Ma'am..."

A voice came from the door. Macy lifted her head and found Jino in the doorway. "Yes?"

"Er... it's about Writer Min."

Macy gestured for Jino to come in and explain. The young editor entered her office and walked over to the editor's desk. She looked at Jino closely.

"Is there any problem?" she asked.

"Writer Min intends to withdraw the script."

Her brow furrowed. "Pull the script? Why? The editing process is still going, isn't it?"

"That's how it is. But fifteen minutes ago, I got an email from Author Min. She intends to withdraw the manuscript and will not publish it. During the editing process, we did not experience any difficulties. And previously she also didn't show that there was a problem," explained Jino.

Macy exhaled slowly. Oh, she had this kind of problem quite often. There was even a writer who pulled the script before publishing. "Did she say the reason why she wanted to withdraw the script?"

"Writer Min didn't say the reason explicitly when I contacted her earlier. But she said that this is a personal matter. I think it has something to do with her family."

Well, Macy remembers Sheena Min's explanation regarding the reason for writing the Wildest Dream of a Woman script. Including her sister's relationship with their extended family because of it. Maybe her family found out about the novel and forbade her to publish it. Moreover, this relates to the good name of the family.

"So, how's it going, ma'am?" Jino asked.

"We haven't signed a contract with Writer Min yet, have we? Just do what he wants. After you send all the hardcopy of the manuscript, delete all the database of the novel. I will send a personal email to Writer Min."

Jino nodded slightly and left the room. Macy took off her glasses and put them on the script in front of her. She rubbed her face slowly. Well, at least this reduces one job.

David watched Andrew who was printing the novel he had finished working on. His brows furrowed. It hadn't even been two months since the writer had started his new writing. Even for a few times, the man did not write at all.

This is the fastest record for Andrew to finish his novel. Previously, he had finished a novel in less than four months. But less than two months? When did the man write? Even in the studio, he only spends about six to eight hours writing. That is if he really focused. But lately, the man has been writing for less than four hours.

Did he continue to work at the apartment?

"This is one of your fastest records, isn't it?" said David.

Andrew turned to him and smirked. "It just flows. Maybe because the idea I took did not spend too much time on research. You want to read it?"

"Andrew? You're all right, aren't you?"

"Why?"

"Are you not aware? You just offered me to read your novel. You never did that before. After you meet the editor, you only let me read it."

Andrew was silent. He then took out a stack of paper drafts of the finished manuscript. "Oh. Then later."

David snorted. For some reason he felt that the man had changed a lot since they moved to Manila.

"Where are you going to send the manuscript? St. Haven? Or CR?"

Andrew walked to his desk. He took a large clip to hold the stack of paper together so it wouldn't fall apart. "St. Haven? Why would I send it to them? Normally, every new novel, I would send it to CR, right?"

"I know. Just making sure. Oh yes, I received an invitation for the launch of your novel. But the location hasn't been determined yet," said David who was still sitting on the sofa watching Andrew tidying up his novel draft.

Andrew mumbled softly. "Maybe they still haven't decided where it is. Previously I told Macy that it was okay if the launch was in St. Haven. But I don't know. She just said she would talk to the board of directors."

Andrew put the draft of the script into a big brown envelope and put it in his backpack. He also put his laptop in his backpack.

"Macy?"

Andrew mumbled again. "Yes, Macy. She asked me about the location for the novel launch event."

"When?"

"A few days ago. When we..." Then he was silent for a moment. He looked at his agent who was sitting on the sofa looking at him inquiringly. Oh, Andrew is not aware of his own words.

David raised an eyebrow. "When you.....? What?"

"It is nothing."

David took a deep breath. "Andrew..."

"Leave it, David."

Oh, when the man is being defensive like this, it means that the man is hiding something. David wouldn't ask further or interfere, but at least he needed to know what was really going on.

Moreover, Andrew called the Editor's name so casually. This made him believe that something was going on between the writer and the editor.
