Andrew and Macy walked hand in hand in the basement, towards the latter's parked car. Today, Macy plans to start working again. Especially with the discussion of Ken who withdrew his novel. Although yesterday Jared emphasized to her that he could take care of this matter without her presence, besides that there was Gil who was still taking over her work duties. But the editor-in-chief refused. That is her responsibility. So, even if she just sat in on the discussion, at least she needed to be present.

Andrew also can't change the woman's mind. He looked at her as she walked first to her new car. Well, at least he succeeded, well by forcing his lover a little to have breakfast and take medicine. Although slowly, Macy's voice is returning to normal but the medicine given by the doctor needed to be finished before she went for a check-up next week.

"What time will you finish?" he asked while smoothing the back of the woman's shirt a little.

Today, Macy is wearing a black cotton t-shirt wrapped in Andrew's peach colored shirt with black jeans and sleeves that are folded up to the elbows. And sneakers. Well, this is her lover's way of dressing her to look trendier than her who always wears formal clothes. Because according to her boyfriend, she looks prettier in casual clothes.

She turned to look at Andrew. "I don't know. It depends on the course of the discussion. Maybe it will take a little longer. But I can get out early, to pick up Marcus at school. Why?"

"Can we meet at Marcus' school? To have lunch together," said Andrew.

Macy smiled slightly and nodded. Then she climbed into her car. After wearing the seatbelt, she started the engine and started the car. Andrew exhaled as he watched the Audi car drive away from the parking basement.

The writer then walked to his own car. David must have been waiting for him in the studio.

Ken took Marcus to his class.

"Marcus..." Ken called as he approached his son who was storing his backpack. He slightly equates his height with Marcus. "Remember, don't leave class before daddy or mommy picks you up. Understand?"

The boy nodded. "Understood, daddy."

He smiled and rubbed Marcus' red and fluffy cheeks. "Smart kid. Study hard and obey your teacher's words, okay? Do not be naughty. Remember daddy's advice last night."

Marcus smirked and nodded again. Ken then said goodbye and left the class to meet the teacher.

In addition to asking Ken to take Marcus to stay at his parents' house, Macy also requested that he should not take his eyes off of their son until he entered the classroom and told his teacher not to let him interact with strangers – even if they claimed to be Ken's or Macy's family. And the teacher agreed.

Ken returns to Marcus' classroom and sees that his son is chatting with his classmates. He could breathe a sigh of relief for now. After making sure that the boy got to class safely, he rushed to the parking lot. He had to go to St. Haven immediately. His lawyer and the legal staff from his studio arrived at St. Haven already.

He opened the driver's door when he felt someone walking towards him from behind. He was silent for a moment, before he turned to look at the person.

When he saw the figure of a young woman, his brow furrowed.

"Writer Reyes?"

The young woman knew him. Well, almost everyone in Manila knew who he was, so he wasn't too surprised when she said his name. But one thing he knows is that the woman is not the parent of this school's students.
