Jared Miller smiled at the two detectives sent by the Manila police and motioned for them to sit down. Jared then turned to his secretary and asked to make a drink. The secretary nodded and left the room.

Jared sighed and sat on one of the sofas.

"So, any developments regarding yesterday's incident?" he asked without further ado, because that was the biggest reason the two detectives had come to see him.

One of the detectives who looked not much younger than him took out a small book – a notebook from his leather jacket pocket. "We have checked the CCTV footage and conducted a cross-investigation of several witness statements. At this time, we cannot determine who the perpetrator is."

It didn't surprise Jared. Even to find the perpetrators of Macy's attack in the parking basement, the St. Haven didn't find any clues at all. The black clothed person was nowhere to be seen after the incident. As if he knew the blind spots of every St. Haven. And that's what made him worried.

It is possible that the culprit was a staff at St. Haven.

Jared had brought this up at the board of directors meeting a few weeks earlier. But at that time – before Macy's car vandalism incident and the Agent Lee incident yesterday – some directors did not feel that it was something of an emergency. Hell, even though Jared had also talked about some minor incidents that happened at St. Haven. And it wasn't until Agent Lee was rushed to the hospital that all the directors agreed to report the case to the police.

All for the reputation of St. Haven, they say. It made Jared sick.

"What about the investigation into the previous blood balloon thrower? Even though the police have released her, isn't there still a possibility that he will commit a similar act," he asked.

Another fellow detective replied, "We've looked into it. Based on alibis and statements of several witnesses. The girl was not at the scene."

"And obsessive fans don't just refer to one person," said Jared quickly.

"That's right, Director Miller. We understand that you are upset about this incident. We are also trying our best to find the culprit. Currently, the cyber police team is investigating several suspicious accounts. But this takes time. The police cannot be careless about this case. You yourself have emphasized that this has to do with the reputation of St. Haven and more importantly is Writer Andrew Coangco."

Jared sighed. Yeah, of course, he said that. It was the board of directors who pressured him to convey these two things to the police. St. Haven and Writer Coangco. In fact, the security of the St. Haven itself was not the most important thing to some directors. This is the dark side of St. Haven. Heck, Jared even thought that this company should be named St. Hell. Saints don't even match Hell itself.

"I know. It's just..." he sighed again. "Please find the culprit as soon as you can."

Macy glanced at Marcus who was eating his sandwich. After school, she took him to a fast-food restaurant to buy lunch. The boy was a little annoyed that he had to wait longer, so Macy gave him a little 'freedom' to choose the menu he wanted. Including soda.

"Is that delicious?" she asked while turning the wheel. They were almost at St. Haven and she had to think of a way to keep her son busy while she worked.

Marcus mumbled. His mouth was still full of sandwiches. He turned to his mother. "We're going to St. Havens?"

"That's how it is. Mommy still has work. Do you mind?"
