Chapter One Hundred Twenty Eight

Hani smiled when she saw Marcus coming out of his class. The boy greeted her with a big smile. She ruffled the boy's black hair then stretched out her hand. Marcus reached it. The two then walked out of the school building.

"Auntie, let's eat a burger!" exclaimed the little man.

"You want a burger? Are you allowed to eat fast food by daddy and mommy?" the lawyer asked.

Marcus snorted. "Come on... daddy and mommy won't know if auntie will not tell them. Okay? Just this once. Let's go and grab some burgers. Please, pretty auntie?" he coaxed.

Hani chuckled. Marcus will only call her pretty or beautiful if the boy wants something and she finds it adorable. She tightened her grip on the boy's hand.

"Okay. But just this once, okay? And if your daddy and mommy find out later, I will not be responsible. You have to explain it to them, okay?"

Marcus smirked and nodded enthusiastically.

Hani just smiled at her nephew's enthusiastic reaction. Honestly, she couldn't bear to tell Marcus that his mommy was in the hospital again. He is too sensitive for matters related to his parents, especially to Macy. But the lawyer knows that she couldn't delay it any longer.

"Come on auntie... walk faster!!" said Marcus who was still very enthusiastic and pulled her hand to walk faster towards the parking area.

Hani just laughed and followed Marcus' wish. Well, maybe she could put it off until they were done with lunch.

Andrew, who just got out of the elevator after dropping off Jared after they talked for a while, saw David who was walking towards him. He doesn't know when the man arrived. In addition, he also did not get any messages from him. But after checking his jeans pocket, he realized that his cell phone was left in the hospital room.

"You just arrived?" he asked as his cousin got closer.

David took a breath. "I just came here. But you better go back to the infirmary. Macy was looking for you."

Well, that made Andrew a little wary. The reason? He said that he would stay by Macy's side until his lover woke up. He immediately rushed to the woman's room, followed by his agent.

When he entered the infirmary, he saw Macy was being accompanied by a nurse. He immediately approached her. The nurse then said goodbye to leaving the room. David thanked her and closed the door slowly.

While Andrew took Macy's hand. He watched her worriedly.

"What is it? David said that you were looking for me? Sorry I was out for a while. I thought you would still be sleeping when I came back," said Andrew apologetically.

Macy smiled and shook her head. She flipped the man's palm and wrote something down.

'I'm fine.'

'Don't worry too much.'

Even though Macy said not to worry. But Andrew thought that there must be something. He doesn't think his lover will ask David to look for him for no apparent reason. Then he glanced at his cousin. Maybe before going to look for him, David and Macy had a chance to talk. Moreover, David just returned from the police station.

"Dave, did you tell Macy about Katy's investigation?" he asked.

David glanced at Macy for a moment. "Only a few. Because Lawyer Kim will explain it in detail to her in a few days. Ah, I also told her about Lawyer Kim's decision to tell Marcus about her condition."
