Macy stood outside the courtroom waiting for Hani to come.
Today is Marcus' custody judgment hearing. And she wasn't quite optimistic about the outcome. Ken and his lawyer were already in the room. She didn't want to wait with him. Especially with what his ex-husband said two days ago.
"This is so shocking!"
Macy turned around. Hani walked up to her with a smile.
"A little forced," she said.
The Lawyer took a deep breath. She looked at the Editor intently. It seemed that Macy must have thought about this trial. In addition, two days ago, the woman sent a message about some changes she wanted.
Macy took a breath. "About what I asked, can you do it?"
"Well, it was a little sudden. Moreover, today is the verdict trial. Although I'm not sure the judge will grant it, but I can appeal. That's if you want to wait any longer," Hani said.
Well, she didn't want to wait. But if there was no choice, then she will. This issue is related to her son, Marcus.
"Do what you can, Lawyer Kim. I can only rely on you."
Hani was silent for a moment. She then patted her friend's shoulder and smiled faintly. "Okay. Let's go inside."
Macy nodded slightly and followed Hani into the courtroom.

David wasn't surprised when he saw that Andrew was focusing on writing again when he arrived at the studio. He doesn't know what time the man came. Because usually, it's him who always reminds his cousin to not overwork himself. Especially after Editor Gil sent an email about several things related to the launch of Andrew's novel. Ah, and a reminder about the fan sign event decision.
He walked to the Writer's desk; at a glance he saw a basket filled with food on the meeting table. Looks like he'll have to throw it all away soon. "Andrew..."
The man just mumbled.
"About the decision on the fan sign, how is it?" asked David.
For a moment, Andrew stopped typing. He lifted his head to look at his cousin. "Oh, that's right. I even almost forgot about it."
David could only roll his eyes. After the man said that he agreed to the event, then he said he would reconsider. Now the man reasoned that he had forgotten about it.
"Do you want to think about it again? I can contact Editor Gil for..."
Andrew shook his head. "No need. They can do it. It's just that for the number of fans... well, I just don't want an overwhelming crowd."
"So same as before? Thirty?"
"That's still too much, isn't it?"
David sighed. "I'll talk to Editor Gil and the PR Team."
Andrew then nodded and went back to the draft of the novel he was working on.

Gil was replying to an email to Agent Lee regarding the fan sign event that Writer Coangco agreed to after he discussed it with the PR team when Macy arrived. Gil suddenly stood up when the Editor walked into his room. The editor-in-chief didn't say anything and just went into her office and closed the door tightly.
