Hani glanced at Macy who leaned her head against the car window with her eyes closed. Her friend looks tired. Before going to Macy's room, she met Jared Miller because the man contacted her and told her what had happened all day at St. Haven. And even though Jared asked her to come around lunch time, she still had a lot of work to do, so she only came around five o'clock. At a time when almost all the staff of St. Haven is coming home.

One of the reasons the lawyer is so busy today is that she went to the police station and Cyanne Hotel to get the CCTV footage yesterday. As additional evidence, in addition to the results of the post-mortem that he got from Tony later.

But it seems that Hani's decision to delay her arrival made Jared look frustrated. Because when she entered his office, Jared started to tell a long story.

Starting from the St. Haven's car that Macy was driving was delivered by a substitute driver yesterday afternoon, Macy who came with a bruised face but she said she was fine and worked too hard. In addition to her subordinates, the staff from other departments also seemed worried about the editor's condition.

The reason is that Macy never came to St. Haven with this condition. Even during the divorce process with Ken before.

Therefore, Jared contacted Hani for an explanation. Apart from work, Macy never shared her personal problems with the director. And Hani could only give a brief explanation. Without telling Jared about what Katy did. Well, if the man finds out, it's not only Katy who will end her contract with St. Haven but also Ken. Hani knows that Macy is still – a little – thinking about her ex-husband's career.

She took a deep breath.

"Macy, do you want to have dinner first? Before going to the clinic?" she asked.

The woman didn't answer. She slowly opened her eyes, exhaled slowly and straightened herself. Heck, when Hani watched it, all those movements looked so awkward.

"Mace..."

"I'm not that hungry," Macy muttered.

Hani sighed. Gil told her that all day in St. Haven, Macy only drank three glasses of latte and a sandwich for lunch. Besides, she also doesn't know if Andrew managed to persuade her to have breakfast.

"Are you sure? We can stop by your favorite ramen restaurant."

Macy once again shook her head. "If you insist, then just a sandwich."

"But Gil said you ate that for lunch. Come on... maybe chicken with soup?"

Macy sighed again and leaned her head back. "It's up to you."

Well at least, it's not a rejection.

"All done?"

There was a murmur on the other end of the phone. Andrew put the bowl that still had some pasta into the sink. He would take out the trash and wash the other dirty dishes later. With his hand holding the phone, he opened the refrigerator and took out a mineral bottle and carried it to the living room.

"Addy?"

"I still need her passport scan. You know, for booking tickets and other things."

He took a deep breath. He opened the bottle cap with both thighs holding the bottle so he could open it with one hand. "I haven't told her yet about this. And I can't ask her about it without a reason."
