Hani glanced at her cellphone which rang while she was reading one of the case documents she was handling. Macy's name appeared on the screen of her cellphone. With a slightly furrowed brow, she put down her pen and grabbed her phone.

"Yes, hello..."

"Senior..." Macy said on the other side of the phone. Well, the woman doesn't call her 'Lawyer Kim' which means whatever the editor wants to talk about is personal. "Are you busy today?"

Hani leaned back in her chair. "Not so busy. I'm just reading some case documents. Why?"

"Err... I want to ask you a favor."

"About?"

There is a pause for a few seconds.

"Can you pick up Marcus at school? Then bring him here at St. Heaven."

Hani was silent for a moment. Oh, she didn't know that Macy had entered the office. Whereas yesterday, she had just complained to her that her boss told her not to come on her leave. But Hani could assume the reason why Macy was at St. Haven today. Yesterday's news was really busy.

"Senior..."

Oh, looks like Hani was pensive for a long time. She cleared her throat slowly. "Just pick him up at school then drop him off at St. Havens?"

"Yes. That's if it's not too much trouble. I could have asked one of my subordinates to pick up Marcus, but we're really busy right now. So, I don't know who I can turn to for help. Besides you."

The lawyer glanced at the watch on her left wrist. "School finishes at eleven, doesn't it?"

"Yes. Can you pick him up?"

Hani then closed the open document and tidied it up. If she left now, she probably wouldn't be stuck in traffic later. "Okay. I'll pick him up and take him to lunch before dropping him off at St. Haven. If you're busy, Marcus might be late for lunch. I'll also bring you lunch."

"Oh, thank you, Senior. I'll call the teacher and tell her that you are going to pick up Marcus. Once again, thank you, Senior."

Hani mumbled softly. She stood up and grabbed her jacket. "It's nothing. I'll call you again when I get to Marcus' school."

Then the connection was cut off when Hani came out of her room. She looked through several cubicles for her assistant. She then walked towards the reception desk near the elevator. Well, the assistant loves to tease the receptionist.

"Rose!" Hani exclaimed a bit loudly.

A woman who jumped up was startled and turned around. She smirked at her boss who snorted in annoyance.

"I'll be gone for a bit. Divert all the calls for me," said Hani who was tidying up the dress she was wearing.

Rose nodded. "Noted, Lawyer Kim."

Hani rolled her eyes. "And stop teasing the receptionist. If you have a lot of free time, you should check your work."

Andrew doesn't really like the spotlight. It had been a dozen years, but he wasn't used to all the stares of the people. Well, if it's for a photo shoot or interview, maybe he can still handle it, but if it's a casual situation like this – when he walks into the lobby of St. Haven and suddenly all eyes are on him– he wants to hurry to the elevator. But the three bodyguards in front of him were walking too slowly.

Especially with all this security. Today the number of bodyguards accompanying him increased to ten people. Heck, he feels like cursing loudly. He wasn't a state official or a person so important that he needed ten bodyguards.

As they approached the elevator, a bodyguard kept the elevator doors from closing before he was in the elevator. However, when he entered the elevator, the ten bodyguards did not enter the same elevator. One of them pressed the button for the twelfth floor.

Andrew looked at them all confused.

"You will be attending a meeting with representatives of St. Haven. Chief Editor Cruz will be waiting at the twelfth-floor elevator door."

Then the elevator doors closed.

Maybe this is why Gil contacted him and asked him to come to St. Haven. But the meeting with the directors of St. Haven? Regarding what? If yesterday's matter, shouldn't it be an internal conversation of St. Haven? And Macy was waiting for him on the twelfth floor?

While he is still struggling with his own thoughts. The elevator stopped on the twelfth floor and when the door opened, he saw the figure of Macy – with a serious expression and formal attire – waiting for him.

Andrew walked out and Macy bowed in greeting. Heck, he doesn't like formal situations like this. Even if it involved his lover.

"Director Miller is waiting for you, Writer Coangco," Macy said politely.

The editor then walked first to show the room where the meeting with the directors took place.

After a long sigh, Andrew walked behind Macy.

And unlike the editorial team floor, the twelfth floor seems so calm and elegant. There are several rooms with distinctive carved wooden doors. Andrew could see several name plates written on each door. Maybe this is a special boardroom.

Macy took him to the meeting room at the far end. The editor-in-chief opened the door and invited him to enter first. He looked at Macy closely. Hell, even at the beginning of their meeting, Macy had never behaved so formally like this.

He would rather drag her into one of the empty rooms and ask her to explain herself what really happened –rather than this way. But he didn't want to get Macy into trouble.

So, he walked in and saw that there were already several people waiting for him. One of them approached him.

"This is our first-time meeting in person, Writer Coangco. I am Director Jared Miller."

Hani waved her hand when she saw Marcus smiling and running towards her. His left hand was still bandaged but today he wasn't wearing a sling. Hani thought that her wound was starting to heal. That's good.

"Aunt Hani!" exclaimed Marcus.

Hani smiled widely and knelt down slightly to hug the boy. "Hey, big boy. How's your day?"

"It's okay," said Marcus. It made the lawyer ruffle his black hair. "Our teacher said that mommy sent a message that she couldn't pick me up, and aunt Hani would pick me up."

"That's right. Mommy is taking care of her work, so she can't pick you up." said Hani as she stood up straight.

Marcus watched Hani closely. "Is it because of Uncle Andrew's problem yesterday?"

Hani's eyebrows rose when the boy called Writer Coangco as Uncle Andrew. Well, she didn't know that Marcus was so familiar with the writer. And again, the boy seemed to be worried too.

"Mommy didn't say anything, but it looks like it was because of that," said Hani. Then she stretched out her hand. "Today's Marcus' lunch is with me, then after that I will take you to St. Havens, okay?"

Marcus grabbed her hand with his right hand. "Okay..."
