Macy closed Marcus' room slowly after making sure her son was sleeping.

After dinner, Macy checked her son's homework, changed the bandage on the boy's hand after her son showered. She washed the dishes while Marcus watched television. When it was almost half past nine, she told Marcus to go to sleep.

They didn't talk much. Marcus kept talking about his friends at school and Macy was half listening. Because her mind was filled with Andrew's confession in the elevator a few hours ago.

Macy is not a young woman anymore. But getting a love confession like Andrew did – it even seems so simple; doesn't mean she wants something so 'big' – made her heart flutter.

Previously, Andrew said that he almost loved her and it was yesterday. She just didn't expect that time to come so quickly. After everything that happened in a few months. Heck, even when Andrew kissed her for the first time, the feeling of mutual liking wasn't there. Including when she accidentally drank juice containing stimulant drugs and Andrew helped her.

Oh, just remembering that incident made her face turn red and feel hot.

She took a deep breath. She stared at her bedroom door, but her body wanted her to go somewhere else. Andrew's apartment unit.

"Hi..." Andrew said in surprise. In his hand was a cellphone. It seems that when Macy pressed the doorbell, he was – and still is – calling someone. "I... uh. Sorry, got to go," he said to the person on the other end of the phone.

Then he hung up the phone. While Macy stood in front of the door with big, wide eyes.

Currently, he only wears a t-shirt with pajama pants. His hair was also still half wet. Macy may have seen the man in casual clothes before. But not with clothes like this.

Macy wasn't sure what she was expecting when she pressed the doorbell of Andrew's apartment unit. But what is clear is not the figure of Andrew in his pajamas. It's barely even nine o'clock. It was impossible for the man to go to sleep so soon.

"Sorry, I thought it was a delivery service," said Andrew, stepping aside a bit and gesturing for Macy to come in. "I just finished taking a shower too."

"Oh, it's okay. But why are you just having dinner now?" Macy asked.

Andrew smiled. "A little preoccupied with some emails. After that, order food and then can take a shower. I was just getting dressed when my mom called... oh, sorry, you're probably not interested." Andrew paused and ran his fingers through his hair.

"Your mom?"

"Yeah... you know, Moms with all the advice," said Andrew with a smile. "God... it's good to see you."

Andrew closed the door behind him and stepped closer to Macy. Instinctively, Macy stepped back, but then stopped. She cursed in her mind after she realized what she was doing. Andrew might think something else, seeing her reaction.

"I'm sorry..."

Macy grabbed Andrew from the back of his neck and pulled him closer to kiss the man. After a few seconds, Andrew pulled his lips and smiled at Macy.

Macy's hand was still on Andrew's neck, touching the man's warm skin and caressing it gently.

"I miss you," Andrew whispered.

Andrew then buried his face in his lover's neck and pulled the editor's body tighter. They stood there for a long time, embracing each other tightly.

"But didn't we just meet in St. Haven? Even in the elevator just a while ago," Macy said when they finally let go of each other's arms and she took a step back. She wanted to see Andrew fully. "But... I miss you too," she said.
