"Uh, alright. I understand," said Andrew with the phone in his hand as he walked down the lobby of St. Haven while following Macy to the reception desk to take the visitor id for him. He is currently talking to David, slightly confirming what the CR sent.

He glanced at Macy who was now talking to one of the receptionists. They turned to him and the writer only bowed slightly in greeting because David was still talking on the other side of the phone.

"Are you going to have lunch with Macy?"

Andrew mumbled. "It seems like I'm going to. After coming from St. Haven, we might be going to Marcus' school."

"Who are you talking to?" Macy asked as she brought the ID and put it on his wrist.

Andrew lowered his phone slightly. "It's David. Do you mind if he joins us for lunch?"

The woman shook her head and smiled faintly.

"You can come and have lunch with us. I will give you the address of the restaurant where we will eat. Okay?" said Andrew who returned to follow Macy walking towards the entrance.

He watched his lover put her phone on the platform so the door opened. Macy then walked in and turned around to give a hint for him to use the id on his wrist. He immediately followed her direction and managed to enter.

"Okay. I will wait for your message."

He smiled and hung up the phone. He and Macy walked into the elevator. The editor pressed the floor the editorial team was on. "David is still in the studio?"

Andrew nodded. "Just taking care of some emails from CR. He said that CR had a report from St. Haven on the overall sales of my novel since its release."

"Maybe it's Gil and the marketing team. You know, for almost a month I can't say I'm working at all. All reports were transferred to Gil," said Macy.

"Oh, that's right."

Andrew chuckled and Macy rolled her eyes. Soon the elevator doors opened. The editor came out first followed by Andrew. Gil was so shocked to see his boss that he suddenly stood up. Either yesterday's news had spread or Gil was shocked to see the wound on the chief editor's head. Or because his boss came with writer Coangco.

"Chief Editor...?" Gil exclaimed which made the other editors turn their heads.

Just like Gil, the other editors' expressions were also shocking. Macy sighed. She then waved her hand. "Go back to work," she said, walking briskly to her room.

Seeing all of it, Andrew chuckled again at the expressions of the editors when the editor-in-chief ignored them. He also waved his hand and walked into the woman's office. He saw the owner of the room opening the desk drawer – taking out the car keys. One of his eyebrows rose.

Soon Gil also entered the room and walked towards the editor's desk. He looked closely at his boss. "Ma'am..."

Macy glanced at Gil. "What about the preparations for the expo? That's next month, isn't it?"

"Jino took it over. But ma'am-"

"Good. Tell him to give me regular reports, okay?"

Andrew realized that Macy didn't want Gil to talk – maybe because she knew what her subordinate was going to say. Then he chose to sit on the sofa. This was a work matter, so he would let her settle it.
