After leaving the police station, Hani brought Macy and invited Ken to have lunch together. What Macy explained about last week's incident was the biggest shock for the lawyer. Even though she had heard half of Macy's explanation before, with Doctor Steven, her friend's statement in front of the Detective was a big thing. Including when she read Ken's BAP results. Heck, the two people who are now with her are victims of Katy.

She glanced at Macy who just stirred her kimchi soup without looking like she had an appetite. Next to her, Ken looks the same. Even though he occasionally just bribes rice. And Hani is like a mother who worries too much for her two children who are fighting. Oh, that's sad. Moreover, she is not married – let alone has a lover.

"Macy..." Hani said quietly.

The editor just mumbled.

"I will invite Marcus to stay with me."

Her hands suddenly stopped stirring the kimchi soup and she slowly raised her head and looked at Hani. Likewise with Ken. Hani knew it was so spontaneous and besides, Marcus had never stayed with her or the woman offered the same thing. But now Hani said that she would take Marcus to stay and from the tone of her voice, Hani was not asking for approval from Macy –or even from Ken. Because whatever Macy said, her senior would take her son to her house.

Well, Hani has her reasons for that.

"What happened at the police station today is a big stress for you and Doctor Steven said you could just go back into hysteria like before. With Marcus there, I'm just worried. Right now, you may look fine, but no one knows. Like before, you suddenly experienced hysteria when..." Hani's words trailed off.

She glanced at Ken who was also watching and listening to her explanation. Oh, she doesn't know if it's appropriate to mention Writer Coangco in front of Ken. And it seems like the man

saw her hesitation to continue her explanation.

"Do you want to mention Andrew Coangco?"

Hani was silent. Oh, that reaction looked different from what she had thought. Ken then glanced at Macy who only stared at the lawyer.

"I don't think you ever explained to me about your relationship with him. Even though that man has been open about your status when we had dinner last night," Ken said.

Well, Hani didn't know about that dinner? Macy, Andrew, and Ken had dinner together?

Macy took a deep breath. She stirred her soup again. "I don't think I need to explain anything to you, especially regarding my relationship."

"Even with my status as Marcus' father?" Ken said slowly. "I may not have the right as I am now your ex-husband, but what about as our son's father? If you are in a relationship with him or with anyone... at least I need to know who will be involved in Marcus' life. And that includes your lover."

"There is no one, Ken." Then Macy left. She couldn't eat at all. "Senior, you can pick up Marcus at school if you want to invite him to stay. I'll call the school if you're going to pick him up. I'm going back to St. Haven by taxi."

Then without hearing an answer from Hani, Macy left the restaurant. Hani and Ken couldn't help it at all. They both just stared at the woman who walked out. Hani took a deep breath and looked back at Ken.

"You guys have dinner together? The three of you?" asked the lawyer who was still curious.

The man then snorted in annoyance at Macy's attitude. "It was actually the four of us with Marcus. At that time, I took our son to her apartment. Andrew Coangco was there and the man invited me to have dinner together. So, I accepted it."

Hani nodded slightly. "And about Andrew's attitude during dinner that night..."

"Hani Kim, anyone with eyes will be able to see it. How the man behaved and treated Macy. Even throughout dinner, she tried to act casual, but I could see that she liked the man's treatment of her."

Hani smiled faintly. "And you're jealous?"

Ken threw an annoyed look at the lawyer in front of him. But it feels like there's no use to cover it up.

"A little. But I am aware of our current relationship status. And I just want her not to suffer anymore. Especially after what happened in the last two years and what happened yesterday."

"Then give up. Leave the custody of Marcus to Macy."

Ken's eyes widened at the lawyer's words.

"I didn't mean to make you feel much more guilty. But you know, Macy still survives to this day because of Marcus only. Even before deciding to file an appeal, she would accept whatever the outcome of the previous trial was. Including that she would rarely see her son. But because of you and Katy-"

"I cannot do that!" Ken said quickly.

Hani becomes silent. The man's expression looks very serious this time.

"I can't just hand over the custody of Marcus to her. Katy..."

Hani groaned. Of course, it was because of Katy.

Andrew leaned on one side of the elevator. In his hand was a large white envelope. It's almost nine o'clock at night and David is telling him to go home because all he has been doing all day is finishing his latest writing – after he sent the draft of the novel to CR. It was just a short note and he managed to finish it today.

However, he doesn't know if he has the courage to write that.

Before long, the elevator stopped on the fifteenth floor and the door opened. He took a deep breath and walked out of the elevator to his unit. But he was a little surprised to see several people crowding in front of his unit –well, Macy's unit to be precise.

Andrew rushed to the crowd. Oh, he doesn't know all the neighbors on the same floor except for Macy.

"Excuse me..."

One of the people turned and looked at him. "Oh, the owner of 1502?"

He simply nodded. "What is it? Why are there so many people gathered?"

"The owner of unit 1504 fainted. Previously I heard screams, and when I came out the owner of unit 1504 had already fallen unconscious. That scream was the occupant of unit 1501 who found it."

Then he slightly pushed a few people to give him way. He saw that Macy was still on the cold floor. Quickly, he entered the code number for the woman's unit door and opened it wide. Oh, he doesn't care about the mumbling sound of people asking how he knows Macy's unit door code. He dropped the white envelope he was carrying so he could carry Macy bridal style into the apartment. But one of them put the envelope on top of Macy's body – making it easier for him.

"Do we need to call an ambulance?"

He looked at the people and shook his head. "That's not necessary. I'll call the doctor. Thank you."
