Macy watched Andrew who was washing the bowl she had eaten with Marcus earlier. Although she tried to signal that she could do it herself, the man insisted on telling her to sit on the stool of the kitchen counter. After Hani and Marcus left, she noticed her boyfriend's slight change in attitude.
Maybe because of the conversation he and Ken had earlier – where Macy would ask for an explanation from Andrew – or maybe because Ken kissed her.
Macy exhaled. She then got up from the stool and approached Andrew who was almost done washing the dishes. She stood next to Andrew. The writer glanced at her and smiled. He rinsed the last bowl and put it on the dish rack.
Macy knew Andrew didn't ignore her, but his attitude was the opposite. With a little hesitation, she reached out her hand to pull the hem of the man's shirt.
Andrew turned and saw Macy's hand, then looked at his lover's face. This is the first time the woman has acted so cute. He smiled. "Why?"
Macy opened her mouth, but realized no sound came out, she closed her mouth again. Andrew dried his hands, then grabbed his lover's hand which was still holding the hem of his shirt. Then he took her to the living room where he kept her notes and markers.
The two of them sat on the sofa. Andrew then took out a notebook and marker from his bag and gave it to Macy. The editor immediately wrote down what she wanted to say.
'Are you mad?'
Andrew frowns. "Angry? Why should I be angry? To whom?"
'To me or to Ken.'
Andrew leans on the sofa. He was still staring at Macy intently. Trying to find out why the woman could think like that. "Well, can you explain to me why you can think like that?"
'I just assumed that you were. I don't know what you're talking about. But I saw your expression. And because of that kiss from Ken...'
Andrew smiled and rested his head on Macy's shoulder. He saw the writing in the woman's notebook. He realized that he liked her handwriting. "We didn't talk much," he said. "And about that kiss. I am not angry. I am just a little surprised and feel awkward. Ken probably didn't mean anything by that kiss. After all, it was only on the forehead. And Marcus also got the same kiss, right?"
Macy took a deep breath. Her body began to relax. She doesn't know how long she's been feeling nervous.
"Regarding our conversation, I only told him about our relationship. He was quite surprised because we had only known each other for two months. And I might as well say that this relationship would never have happened if he had tried harder to convince you that Katy was a bad person."
Macy glanced at Andrew who was still leaning on her shoulder. Her hands suddenly gripped the notebook and marker tightly. She wanted to protest against what Andrew said, but she realized that the man had a point. If she and Ken had not divorced when they met, this relationship would never have happened.
Andrew smiled and sighed. He closed his eyes. "I might also joke a little and say that if when we met, you weren't divorced. Maybe you and him will divorce because of me."
Her face suddenly warmed hearing her boyfriend's words. She then wrote down her response.
'Are you sure you want to be the third person in my household? It doesn't feel like you though.'
She slightly nudged Andrew so he could read her response. The man opened his eyes and read her writing. Then he chuckled.
"Well, that's also true. If you're still married and I'm attracted to you, I might try hard to stay away from you. After my book promotions are over, I will surely ask my cousin to prepare what we need for the next destination."
