The atmosphere of the bookstore in Makati is very lively.

This was so different from the usual day with so many visitors that the bookstore had to deploy an additional security team. It wasn't even ten o'clock yet, which was the bookstore's operating schedule. But since seven o'clock in the morning, there have been many queues of visitors.

Well, today is Writer Coangco's first day of official promotions.

Gil, who was the editorial team leader in place of Macy, watched the bookstore staff make the final check. Although the PR team is actually more involved in this promotion, Macy emphasized that the editorial team also needs to be involved. At a glance, Gil checked the watch on his wrist. It's almost ten o'clock but there's no sign of Writer Coangco's arrival yet.

"How's everything so far?" asked Jen from the PR team who approached Gil.

Gil gave a small nod to Jen. "It seems to be going well. Oh yeah, how about the fabrication of Writer Coangco's arrival. Going through the main door, wouldn't that be too risky?"

Gil then glanced outside the bookstore where there were already many queues snaking from the patrons who were mostly the Writer's fans. And because there were too many, the bookstore increased the number of security teams. They must not be careless because among the group of fans waiting there are obsessive fans.

Jen also looked towards the outside of the bookstore. "Team leader security St. Haven has coordinated with the bookstore's security team. They have prepared a special path. Do not worry. I know Chief Cruz always emphasizes that security shouldn't be caught off guard because of the obsessive fans, but the security team is already very experienced. You can relax for a moment."

Gil glanced at Jen with a bit of annoyance. He looked back at the small stage set up by the bookstore where Writer Coangco would be doing a little talk-show, the PR team scheduled for only about twenty minutes. Sometimes the guy underestimates something too much. If something goes wrong, not only the PR team will be in trouble but all the teams involved, including the editorial. Gil didn't want to make Macy responsible.

"And you're too relaxed."

Gil and Jen turned around and saw the figure of Macy walking towards them. Behind her were two security team members who seemed to be helping Macy to enter the bookstore because the conditions outside were so crowded. The woman thanked the two people.

Gil took a deep breath. "Ma'am, you can't..."

But Macy raised her hand quickly to stop Gil's words. Hell, she knew exactly what Gil wanted to say. "I'm bored. And stop forbidding me to go anywhere. It's not even St. Havens."

"I'm not forbidding you, ma'am," said Gil. Macy gave him an expression of disbelief. Gil gave up. His boss was really a workaholic. "Just to pay attention. You are still on leave. If there is a problem-"

"There will be no problem!" Jen said which made Gil hiss in annoyance.

"If... if there's a problem," Gil repeated his words. "You can't get involved. You're not at work, ma'am."

Macy rolled her eyes. "I promised not to. The editorial team leader is you."

Gil nodded slightly. Macy seemed to know exactly her limits. At least, it could control the woman at this time. Then they saw one of the PR team directing several reporters who had come to cover the area that had been arranged. Heck, Gil doesn't like this stuff. The number of reporters exceeded the previously agreed number.
