Macy looked at the watch on her wrist for the umpteenth time. It was almost six o'clock and the flight from New York had landed forty minutes ago.

There may be a queue at immigration. She took a deep breath and turned to Marcus who was busy playing alone. She smiled faintly at her son.

Marcus and Ken returned from Boracay Island two days after Andrew left for Chicago. And his return, it made her less lonely. Although the boy occasionally asks when his uncle will return. They did FaceTime several times, even though they had to sacrifice Andrew's sleeping time.

"Mommy..." Marcus was running towards her then he handed her some chocolate candy.

She crouched slightly and took the candy. "You got a bag of candies from who?"

"From the grandma sitting there," the boy said, pointing to a middle-aged woman who was sitting in one of the waiting chairs. The middle-aged woman smiled at them. She smiled back.

"Did you say thank you?"

Marcus nodded. "I did! Would you please open one for me?"

She smiled then opened a package and gave it to her son. "Is it yummy?" Marcus nodded enthusiastically. She chuckled and stroked the boy's hair gently. "Don't go too far, okay?"

Macy stood up straight again and looked towards the door that became the exit for all passengers. There is still no sign that passengers on flights from New York have left the gate. Then she took out her phone and typed a message.

'Marcus and I waited in front of the gate exit.'

Then she sent the message to Andrew. She looked back at Marcus who was still playing alone. Several people who seemed to be waiting to pick up also noticed and smiled at her son's sweet behavior.

Well, Marcus has always caught people's attention.

She actually didn't want the boy to come with her to pick up Andrew because she was afraid that Marcus would be bored waiting. She was ready to contact Hani when her son looked at her with a sullen expression. Until finally, she gave up and changed Marcus' clothes. And she was grateful that the boy didn't feel bored at all even though he had to wait for a long time.

She was so busy watching her son when she heard a message notification on her cellphone.

'I just finished with the passport check. I'll be out in five minutes.'

She smiled broadly reading the message from her lover. "Marcus!" she called while keeping her cell phone in her jeans pocket. The boy turned and walked over to her. "Uncle Andrew will be out soon."

"Did Uncle bring me a present?" asked the boy cutely.

Macy's brow furrowed. "Did you only want to come and pick up Uncle Andrew because you want a present?"

Marcus just smiled playfully. "No. I also miss Uncle, mommy. I miss playing with him."

She nodded. Although that doesn't seem like a good reason at all. She just laughed a little at her son's excuse. She then gripped the boy's hand tightly so that he wouldn't go anywhere especially with the many passengers who would get out. It wouldn't be good if she had to lose Marcus. Soon the door opened and several passengers walked out. She tried to find the figure of her boyfriend among them.

After a few minutes and after the crowd of passengers left together, Marcus and she finally saw Andrew who got out last. And when Marcus saw the man, her son suddenly let go of her hand and ran towards his uncle.
