The Detective comes out of the examination room with two other cops. Macy was still in the room with Hani sitting behind the desk with a tired look on her face. Well, she'd just had a nearly three-hour checkup.

With Macy's current condition, the Detective must speed up the examination process. In addition, the wound on her head was bleeding again. The editor-in-chief said that she had to remove the bandage so her son wouldn't see the wound. Oh, if yesterday he saw Ken's strong determination to stand up despite the wound on his leg, today he saw the woman's determination. For the sake of their son, Ken and Macy covered their pain.

Unfortunately, the two of them divorced.

As soon as the Detective came out, Andrew rushed in. He pulled a chair and sat across from Macy. He looked so worried about his lover's condition. But the editor just smiled and said that she was fine, even though in her hand she was holding a tissue where the blood was coming out of her wound. Hani took a deep breath. She took the tissue from Macy's hand and walked out of the room.

The Detective let out a short sigh. "Get the medicine box," he said to one of the officers.

The officer nodded and immediately took the medicine box. David took a deep breath. The Detective is still watching Andrew and Macy's interactions. Heck, the lovers didn't see the situation at all. But David won't blame them either.

"How is it Detective?" asked the agent.

Suddenly the Detective turned to him. "Ah... Editor Cruz gave us some information we really needed."

"And another visit to the hospital," Hani said as she threw the tissue into the trash can in the hallway.

The Detective looks at the lawyer. "The officer is getting the medicine box. At least the wound needs to be covered with a bandage."

Hani nodded slightly.

And soon, the officer returned with the box. She took it and brought it back to the room. She then gave it to Andrew. Once again, the Detective watched the writer's every move towards Macy.

David of course noticed. Maybe too, with Hani.

"Detective..."

The detective flinched and turned to him once again. "Yes?"

"Don't say anything," said the agent.

The Detective becomes silent for a moment, before he nods. "This is none of my business. But at least, it's easier for me to understand Katy's motives. Although not completely sure. Even with all of Macy's statements, it feels like Katy is still hiding something."

David's brow furrowed. Yes, he and Andrew also believe the same thing. It seems that if Katy likes Macy so much, whatever she does, does make a little sense. But it should make Macy always hurt. Katy did not even seem to care if Macy was injured. Katy didn't even show the slightest concern for the woman's condition.

"Will the police conduct psychological examinations on her?"

"It's possible. With all her actions, we need to make sure that Katy is in her right mind when planning it. But if the results of the examination are... Well, I'm sure Attorney Kim won't let the woman go that easily, regardless of the results of the mental exam, will she?" the Detective said.

Andrew sighed when doctor Tony finished putting a bandage on Macy's wound – changing the bandage she wore at the police station. Yes, Hani forced the woman to see doctor Tony at his clinic. Even though Doctor Tony was actually a little surprised by their arrival at his clinic, because the lawyer didn't tell him beforehand. In addition, because the doctor Tony is a forensic doctor. If it was just to treat Macy's wound, they might be able to go to a regular clinic or hospital. But Hani was a little pushy.

Doctor Tony removed the rubber gloves and threw them in a special trash can. "You just need to change the bandage every day. Clean the wound with alcohol, I think that's enough."

Macy nodded slightly. Well, now she just needs to make an excuse for Marcus about the bandage on her head because Andrew and Hani will forbid her to remove the bandage when she's with her son.

"Thank you, Tony," said Hani.

Tony turned to the lawyer and nodded. He then leaned against his desk, looked intently at Macy then turned to Andrew and Hani again. Oh, David said that he needed to go back to the studio to wait for the email from CR, hence he is not in the clinic.

"So, what happened since the last time I checked Macy for that beating?" Tony asked. Well, he was a little curious to see that the woman was injured again after she recently recovered from the beating in Bulacan.

Hani glanced at Macy who was still sitting on the stretcher, Andrew himself was standing nearby but they both didn't want to talk at all. And Hani herself didn't know if she had the right to tell Tony what really happened.

"Mace...?" Hani called out. Macy raised her head to look at the lawyer. "Should I tell him what happened or are you telling the story yourself?"

Macy turned her face away. Andrew who was standing nearby gave a slight gesture by gently rubbing her back.

One of Tony's eyebrows rose. Oh, looks like Macy's case is getting more complicated. He sighed and looked at the woman seriously. "You don't have to tell me if you don't want to. If it had anything to do with the previous case, I think you guys would have met the police."

Macy took a deep breath. She was so grateful that the doctor didn't force her to tell the story. Maybe because the doctor knows his professional code of ethics. After all, the doctor is just a forensic doctor. Even though the doctor previously helped her to carry out an examination due to the beating – and she was very grateful to him – but that was also because of Hani and for what happened yesterday she didn't want many people to know about it.

Oh, she doesn't know if St. Haven had also heard of yesterday's incident or not. Because Jared didn't contact him at all. Maybe she needs to go to St. Haven after this just to be sure. In addition, her car is still parked in St. Haven.

Macy glanced at the watch on her wrist. Almost eleven o'clock. If she rushed, she might be able to pick up Marcus from St. Haven.

"Why? Do you want something?" Andrew asked quietly.

Macy glared at him. "I want to go to St. Haven, go to Jared and pick up my car."

Andrew nodded slightly. Then help his lover to get off the stretcher. He looked at doctor Tony and Hani alternately. "I will take Macy to St. Haven."

Hani sighed, then signaled that they could leave. After all, they're only here to treat Macy's wounds. Doctor Tony himself just smiled understandingly. Then Andrew and Macy walked out of the clinic.

After the lovers left, Tony looked at Hani closely.

"You look displeased," he said curtly as he walked behind his desk. Tony needed to finish the forensic report he was working on when the lawyer arrived.

Hani took a deep breath. "Macy needs to see Doctor Steven again."

Tony stared at her intently. "Okay, I can call him. Has she already agreed?"

"Not yet. But I can talk to her. Make an appointment with your friend," said Hani.

Oh, Tony doesn't like Hani's attitude like this. Even though it's for Macy's sake, she seems to be too involved in Macy's decision making. He leaned his back on the chair and looked at the lawyer seriously.

"I won't make any promises until Macy agrees, Hani."

"But I can persuade her."

Tony shook his head. "You've done it once, Hani. And I won't let you do it again. This is Macy's absolute decision, Hani. I know you want to help, but this isn't helping her at all. Forcing her won't."

"And if you're thinking of contacting Steven without my knowledge, I'll tell him right now that Macy didn't give her consent for a consultation at all," Tony continued.
