Macy watched Andrew walking in front of her. They just finished a meeting with Director Miller regarding the fan sign event decision. And, with a heavy heart, St. Haven decided to cancel the event and several other events. Not a single refusal. Both from the PR team who have struggled to create a system to select thirty people, the editorial team, the sales team and the writer himself.

Instead, St. Haven will send a special package containing the writer's novel merchandise and a photo card with the author's own signature. Well, for that change, Andrew also doesn't give much comment. In short, throughout the meeting, Andrew almost never expressed his opinion.

Macy took a deep breath. This is the worst promotion in St. Haven. Maybe months of preparation is not enough to overcome all the problems that suddenly arise. Especially when it comes to obsessive fans.

After the meeting, Andrew whispered to Macy that they needed to talk privately. The woman nodded and suggested that they talk in her room.

Out of the elevator, Andrew walked straight to Macy's office. He even seemed to ignore all the greetings of the editors who saw him. Hell, Macy doesn't know how she should deal with Andrew's mood like this.

"Ma'am..." said Gil.

Macy was silent then saw Andrew enter her room and turned to the senior editor. "Yes?"

"Agent Perez sent an email. I have forwarded it to your email. But the point of the email was that Agent Perez asked for the promotion plan for Writer Reyes' novel to be postponed until Writer Coangco's case calmed down a bit. Agent Perez reasoned that she didn't want Writer Reyes' promotional event to have an impact because of yesterday's problem," Gil explained.

Macy snorted. Katy is probably one of the best agents. But sometimes the woman is so annoying when it comes to work.

"Who are the team leaders from each department for the promotion of Writer Reyes? You better discuss this with the whole team. Don't focus too much on my opinion alone to decide this. Besides, you also need to notify the secretariat of the directors if there is a change in promotion time, right?" Macy said.

Gil nodded slightly. Then she patted Gil's shoulder.

"You've worked hard. Maybe I shouldn't be on vacation for too long," she said again.

Macy's words made Gil shake his head hard. "No, ma'am. It's not your fault. You are on leave because of your health problems. After all, Director Miller insists that we can't always depend on you every time..."

Macy smiled faintly and gently squeezed Gil's shoulder. "You know, that's not what I meant, Gil. Stop thinking about yesterday's problems and focus on the next job. Regarding yesterday's problem, let me handle it. Okay?"

Gil finally nodded and was about to return to his desk. Until, Macy spoke again which made Gil look back at his boss.

"Oh, by the way," Macy exclaimed. "Later Lawyer Kim will come to escort my son. But right now, Writer Coangco wants to have a serious talk with me. Until we're done, can you accompany Marcus?"

"Okay, no problem, ma'am."

Macy thanked him and went to her room. From behind the large window, she did not see the figure of Andrew sitting on the sofa. Until she opened the door and saw the man standing against the wall – not so far from the door that he was invisible to anyone peeking through the window.

Andrew looked at her seriously. "Close the door."

Macy walked in and closed the door slowly. Then Andrew held out his hand. Macy didn't understand what the man meant at this time. She glanced at the outstretched hand.
