The Detective approached Hani who was waiting for him in the corridor. He smiled faintly at the lawyer and shook his hand. The two then walked towards the interrogation room.
Previously, the Detective contacted Hani and asked her to come to the police station. The Detective only says that it is an important matter.
"So, did something happen?" the lawyer immediately asked.
The Detective glanced at her and still had a smile on his face. Then he opened the door to the observation room next to the interrogation room. Hani entered the room and walked over to the large window there.
In another room, the lawyer sees the junior Detective with another man in handcuffs.
"The man finally gave up. He gave information about the identity of the other perpetrators," said the Detective who was now standing next to Hani.
Hani stared at the Detective intently. She could see that the man was tired and lacked sleep. Under his eyes, there are dark eye bags. But the Detective's expression shows satisfaction and relief. Maybe because they were finally able to catch all the culprits related to Katy's case.
"We caught him before he got on the ferry to go to Taiwan. We had a bit of trouble because he threw away his old identity and created a new one. Somehow, he managed to do it, but we were on time," the Detective explained.
The lawyer looked back at the man who was still being interrogated with the junior Detective. But just like the mastermind, the man didn't answer all of the junior Detective's questions at all.
"Who's he?" she asked quietly.
The Detective sighed. "Ryan Valenciano. For now, we are trying to find the motive for their involvement with Katy. I don't think they could just get involved. You recognize those two people?"
"No, I don't know them at all. I don't think they knew each other in college as well," the lawyer said.
"That's right. We have already checked the initial information regarding them. And none of them are directly related to Katy. Maybe we can get more information from one of them. That is if this Ryan Valenciano is still stubborn and keeps his mouth shut."
This time, Hani gave a small nod. She let out a long breath. It felt like the weight on her shoulders and heart had been lifted completely. All the perpetrators have been caught and Macy can live her life comfortably.
And she just needs to make sure that the witch will be in prison for a very long time.

Macy's hands were shaking. Oh, she couldn't even stand for long, so she had to find the nearest chair. She walked to one of the food tenants, and sat in the waiting chair. Her hands were still holding the phone tightly and her body was still shaking. She even started to sweat profusely.
Andrew, who walked with Marcus towards the Ferris wheel game for children, turned his head and frowned when he didn't see Macy's figure.
"Oh? Where's Mommy?" Marcus asked who also realized the same thing.
Andrew glanced at the boy and held his hand tightly. Just a few minutes ago the woman walked behind them. But now Macy is nowhere to be found. It seemed impossible for her to get lost. The amusement park was indeed quite crowded, but it was unlikely that she would lose them.
"Shall we find mommy first?"
Marcus nodded. Then the two of them walked in the opposite direction, down the path they had come. Andrew took out his cellphone and tried to contact his lover. He needed to be calm, because Marcus could be more panicked than he was. Every now and then he would glance at the boy and smile. Just to calm him down and say that everything will be fine.
But since Macy didn't pick up the call, it wasn't okay. He even thought about contacting security. Even though it sounds weird. He lost an adult than he lost a child on the playground.
Until finally...
"Mommy!!!" Marcus exclaimed who let go of his hand and ran to his mother.
He breathed a sigh of relief when he saw Macy sitting alone in one of the food tenants. He walked over to her and saw the woman smiling at her son. But the closer he approached her, he realized that her face looked very pale.
He then bought mineral water and gave it to Macy. His girlfriend thanked him as she took the water bottle. Marcus himself immediately sat next to his mommy.
"Are you sick?" asked the boy who realized that his mommy isn't feeling well.
Macy looked at her son with a smile. "No. Mommy's fine, honey."
Andrew is still watching his lover closely. He then pulled a chair and sat in front of the woman. He realized that Macy was holding her phone but why didn't the woman receive his calls at all?
"What's wrong, Mace? You look pale. I also tried to contact you, but you just ignored it," said
Andrew while glancing at the cellphone in the woman's hand.
Macy gasped and realized it. "Ah? I'm sorry... I just didn't notice it."
"Mace?"
Macy knew that she couldn't lie to Andrew. After their argument yesterday, she didn't want to repeat the same mistake especially because of her pride or ego. She took a deep breath and then handed the phone to her boyfriend.
"I received a message from Hani," she muttered.
Andrew took the phone and read the message from the lawyer.
Hey, I have news for you.
The Detective has arrested the male perpetrator who was Katy's accomplice. I will prepare a supplementary report for your case.
Now you can rest easy, Mace.
Andrew then looked at his lover and returned the phone. He smiled faintly but didn't take away his concern for the woman. The message from Hani is good news, but why does her reaction look the other way around?
"That's good news, isn't it?"
Macy nodded slightly. "I feel relieved too, honestly."
"Then why is your expression like that?"
"I don't know. I do not understand why too. All the culprits have been caught, isn't that good? But why... I don't understand at all," Macy muttered.
Oh, Andrew realized that his girlfriend was shaking again. With her condition like this, they can't enjoy any games. He glanced at Marcus who looked worried about his mother's condition.
"Marcus, let's just go home, shall we? Mommy's condition is not good," he said very carefully; hoping that the boy would not be upset.
Macy's eyes widened at Andrew's words. "That's not necessary. I'm fine..." but her words were cut off when Marcus tugged at her sleeve. She turned to her son and saw Marcus' worried look on her. The boy's eyes are now glistened with tears.
"Mommy, let's go home. We can go sightseeing next time when you are feeling better," said Marcus who then wiped the tears in his eyes and smiled sweetly at his mom.
